I see no size advantage whatsoever for Jan

I’ve put money on Jan and Aljo tonight.

Adesanya is hittable, Gastelum proved that he’s not super elusive all of the time. Jan with the power he has and weight/size advantage I’m going KO for Jan.

Obviously he weighs more, but he doesnt look much bigger. Izzy's head actually looks bigger, his arms are about the same size as Jan's and even the shoulder width is not much different. Jan just has a much thicker core and hips

Arms look a lot thicker, and shoulders look significantly broader too, on Jan, looking at yesterday's weigh ins. Mind you Jan had to cut weight and will gain it again, while Izzy didn't.
Head size is kind of the same, maybe a little bigger for Izzy, but that's seems just in proportion to being the taller dude.

Jan will be noticeably bigger in cage. Izzy likely is sub 200 in cage while Jan will be around 215 to 225.

Yeah, such bro science to describe the appearance of skulls, bruh. Good point!!

Indeed. It's not a problem that it is. It just is. The head size isn't that important in the equation, anyway.

Jan has the definition of a warrior skull, whilst Izzy is close to the wimp one.

Jan's head is alot thicker/bigger than Izzy's. Unclear if it's an advantage either way though.

Lol did you design your account specifically just to post this? I really hope you give us skull analysis threads for every major event. There's been some good ones on the size of Brock Lesnar's brow bone.

How is describing skull shape bro science?

I specifically stated that it's unclear if it's an advantage. The size and shape is my point, nothing else.

Yes. As you can see I'm the AMOG now.

At the weigh-ins, you shouldn't see a big difference as Jan is a dehydrated version of himself. On fight night, he will be 220-225, if Izzy is telling the truth about 200 being his walk around weight & fight night weight, then you will see the difference between 220-225 vs 200. I still favour Izzy though

Try looking when they're rehydrated and Jan has 20+lbs on izzy

Obviously if they're within 5lbs the naked eye isn't going to see a difference.

Just like GSP and Khabib.

Because those terms are made up by some bro to label a specific part of anatomy.

Chill, bruh. My point was that it isn't really a point. No need to get defensive about it.

And your one of those weight=size people. You must think dc is a big heavyweight, or RDA was a big welterweight
No I am one of those size of torsos, legs, shoulders, etc = size.... you know, what makes up someone's size.... not just "They're tall, therefore they're LHW/HWs.".....

I can play your game. You must think George Roop was a LHW since he is 6'1.

So you dont think having a more massive, bone dense, muscled (albiet small.muscles) head along with a neck also proportionally bigger has any impact?

You think its just coincidence that a guy like Hunt who basically had a county fait award winning pumpkin for a head also had one of the p4p greatest jaws ever? I think there is some actual science behind the types of factors that make some people less prone to knock outs.

Also, implying something is absurd because of bro science... is absurd. The history of exercise science consisted of a lot of "bro science" that proved to be correct.

Jan looks huge next to Israel. However, the reach is a hell of an advantage, especially when it's deployed by someone with pin-point precise striking and excellent footwork. I wonder how Izzy fares in the clinch and how effectively he is able to avoid it.
