That's probably because you pressed 180x5 a few days ago. That's some strong pressing there buddy!

Thanks man, the press is definitely my best lift (and not competed :icon_cry2 ). I'm pressing once and benching twice per week, plus BJJ and cheer, so clearly I need to eat more!
 
I have a cheer competition this weekend, so I didn't want to train 3x this week. I decided on doing some heavy singles today, to try and hit some PRs, and just continue my regular programming on Monday.

I hit some HUGE singles that I was not expecting! Definitely pumped about this, and I'm going to have to up the timelines on some of my 2013 goals.

Just wanted to stop by and thank you for the contribution to my log and the advice. I hit 240x4x3 on bench today.

Also I was going to suggest something about making jets and women fly as your log title but I see you are no longer accepting suggestions.

So, I got spanked by my press today. My shoulders were definitely fatigued from cheer, and my last bench session. I've got to figure out something for my press though and it's progessing the slowest of my lifts. I'm thinking of deloading, spacing out the work sets (15% jumps instead of 12.5%), or maybe switching to 5/3/1 (for my press only) so I'm only making a 5lb jump per month. We'll see. I think I'll at least deload on Madcow once before switching.

No problem man. I guess 240x5x3 is sometime this week? That's huge for your bw though, probably equals a 1 RM of like 280!

Missed the last 2 reps on DL. My hams and legs were pretty fried today. Had cheer practice yesterday, and a weighted march today (7km). Was overall pretty banged up, but still went for it. I'll repeat the weight next week.

Been sloppy with the logging this week. Mainly because the sessions weren't that great. On Wednesday I had a weighted march for work. We did 5km with about 40lbs in a ruck. Just drained my legs for this workout.
