I did 315 pounds front squat for 3 reps. Full range of motion.

Well yeah. I won't tell you how to play DOTA, because I don't play it.
If I did you would pick up pretty quick that i don't know what I am talking about because what I say would be a little off.
I could have watched videos on it, but if my advice is just regurgitated from a book or video, you would know since you actually play it.

It's even easier on the forum because you can go back and read posts with a quick search.
Explain how you are more qualified to talk about fighting than me ?

Because I have also had smoker (low level ammy) fights in mma, kickboxing (muay thai scoring with no elbows) and boxing and have 15 years+ of training and up until 6 months ago, sparred with pro and ammy fighters weekly. I would never give advice on how to fight higher than that level and always preface anything like that with it being my opinion or what I would do.

I am not impressed. I would beat you from pilar to post. You are a quitter.

Dude you are on sherdog. We literaly tell Jon Jones and Dana White what they should do next

What is a smoker ? A sparring. Low level amy. Thought so, you aren't very good. Its not a fight.

and have 15 years+ of training
15 years of being an average hobbist

how light do they go on you ? Do you see stars in training ?

If you don´t believe in yourself you are never gonna be extra good.

You are humble. And you feel the need to make others at or below your level. It makes you feel more comfortable. You don´t wanna hype other peers up and tell them they are good and can do things. You don´t wanna get outdone. You wanna be the top.

Don´t forget we never met each other. This is online.

If you don´t believe you are the beast and are gonna stomp the rest, you are never gonna be good. That´s it.

It´s not are you humble and realistic. It´s hey, you aren´t delusional enough, you gotta hype yourself up. Fighting is just for winners. the losers just get beat down and brain damaged.

You gotta be a special type of delusional to go out there, face a potential brain injury, and smile and swing at your opponent to phisically destroy them. All this humble shit works on sherdog, socialising, but good luck being humble when you are going for a fight. You gotta tell yourself you are the best. If you get beat, make up a reason why it wasn´t your day and come back better.

If I let random strangers online tell me I can´t fight, imagine how much I would suck. Fighting is confidence. If you don´t believe in yourself, you aren´t gonna be strong. I am not a gangster but I would fight you, you revealed yourself a long time ago when you said that I probably would beat you. Any real fighter wouldn´t have said that. I don´t claim to have achievements but 100% would put my fists up and fight you. Cause who are you. If you win good for you, congrats. But just calling me out like that, I would be open to test it. Talk is cheap. Noone talks a lot at sparring. Online it´s easy to talk, for me and you and everyone.

I wouldn't be either, which is why I pointed this out to you when you gave advice with less than a quarter of the limited experience I have.

I know my level because I was reminded of it by actual fighters every week.
you are enjoying yourself, doing martial arts. You don´t need to be a ammy fighter. Barely anyone is. But you talk inteligent, this is your language. Being inteligent in conversation isn´t being the best fight expert. I am sure you know a lot more about jiujitsu than me. In the end it doesn´t matter. But don´t be suprised if I don´t agree with you.

What is your belt color at bjj ? Perhaps you could take me down and insta sub me ? I am super limited grappling knowledge wise. I did some rolls but super super limted amount spent grappling. 15 years, and you aren´t a black belt ? Why ?

dude noone posting vids in the stand up forum is remotely good. You saw the videos. Legit fighters don´t ask us at sherdog to give them tip Lol.

I don´t know how you figure if I am apsolutely awful or extremely good at striking. Are you a telepathic wizzard ? How do you figure my level. Without seeing it. That is what sherdog is for. Asuming things. And I´m also mentaly ill, amongst other things. Plus I made threats to half the global population.

I know my level because I was reminded of it by actual fighters every week.
your level is what you make it and how much you are willing to out tough the competition. Unless you don´t have talent. Noone wants to get brain damage, 99,999% of the global population aren´t competing amy let alone pro. It´s easy to do something else. Fighting looks cool but after 1 punch we all learn it isn´t "just" fun.

this has turned into some keyboard warrior shit. I just wanna see Hama squat now. Last thing I´ll comment on in this thread. Hama let´s go. Like when are you putting up the video ? 28.05 ? You are anouncing more than Jones Aspinal. If you don´t post it tomorrow 28.05, I am never gonna take your squats serious again.

@maximus__
If you are enjoying yourself in some of these threads then please do carry on, I get it. Personally sometimes I have to remind myself that a bunch of the folks here are mentally ill. Some will admit it, some won't or can't. I know you are aware, just a friendly reminder.
Cheers.

lol

I may be mentally ill but I kick ass in my career. And in the gym. That is all that matters in life. Women will bend to your will as long as you have at least 100 million dollars of net worth.

Respectfully, if you need 100 million to have your way with women then you must have some serious shortcomings.

Please make your next post in this thread a video of your claimed 315x3 front squat....

A smoker is usually a shorter fight. It might also include special rules, like no elbows or knees in the clinch. The name comes from the shorter rounds.
I don't want to fight pro and I don't do well in the ammy rulesets available. I use a lot of low kicks and ammy fights usually make you wear shin pads. It takes longer to cause damage with low kicks and shin pads.

Over 15 years, but yes i said that.

Depends on the stage of camp, but usually pretty light unless I am there to work on their ability to get up off the ground.
Then I usually get hit hard at some point because my job is to make them work and people have less control when fatigued. I am pretty defensively sound to be honest but I have been dropped a few times with body shots or wobbled against certain people.

I don;t care about being extra good. I just care about being better than I was yesterday. i don;t make an income from fighting.
I accepted I can help the guys that want to make a career out of it, by being a good training partner.

No, I just point out when people misrepresent their abilities. You can't get the basics down without training in an actual gym. Sparring isn't like riding a bike, it needs to be done regularly at some intensity or you lose all the timing and start flinching from shots again.

I get outdone every day in practice. I have no issues admitting when someone is better than me. If I was at the top in my gym I would leave.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone trying to convince them their neighbors are not stealing their thoughts? I feel like this is what's happening here. You're going out of your way to humbly explain the nuance of sparring or amateur/ semi pro fight matches and it's all for naught. I will not speculate as to why there's such a disconnect but it's quite jarring.

Yes I regularly do have those sorts of conversations unfortunately...

When I tell them they are actually stealing my thoughts it never seems to go well...
