I’ve never seen such a divided group.

Well if Jon doesn't man up id love to see Tom leave to PFL and fight Francis and maybe they can build on the heavyweight division from there on. Beating Francis = being the true lineal heavyweight champion as it stands and its a bigger win than beating Jon at heavyweight right now in my honest opinion.
I'd be down for that. HW is so thin anyway. Would much rather see him fight Ngannou.

Tom can't leave. YOU THINK HE CAN LEAVE? hahahaha

Aspinall, but the WHY is in question. Let's say he loses. For $3 million I would say it wasn't worth it. So for an old man 6 months training and $30 million sounds about right. Would make a loss worth it in his opinion. Again, he holds the cards.

The bigger question is who does Aspinall fight next? Ok... GO
Jon Jones, because he's beaten a lot of the best guys at HW already.

Its adorable watching jon Jones hating kids grow up after all these years into miserable Jon Jones hating adults. Personally i think he's spent and should retire -his fights havent been exciting in years but nobody keeps people bitter like Jones.

"Why would the Champ ever fight the Interim Champ, and consolidate the belt? Why not have the Champ defend against guys coming out of retirement and coming off a brutal KO while the Interim Champ fights the number one contender?" He's brilliant.
The fact he can spew that shit with a straight face is astounding.

When you look at all the names he's fought what does Aspinall do for him? If Dana throws him 3 million is it worth it? "Well Tom deserves it". He doesn't deserve shit, he's a newcomer talking shit to the goat. He can wait another year for his red panty night because without Jon IT WON'T FUCKING HAPPEN.
Thing is.. Tom is not a noob. He's the interim champion, in fact he's the defending interim champion in this shit show. I can't believe Jones fans are dismissing the notion of unification and a champ versus champ bout. Tom HAS proved himself. And he does deserve it. You just weren't paying attention. And if he doesn't deserve it who the fuck does? What's the fight to make for Jones if it isn't Tom?

I do believe John's is the GOAT but it's been years since I've been a fan. I just want to see the best fight the best especially in what should be the Marquee division of any fight organization. I can't believe how many fucking Jones fans dismiss the idea of this fight happening. Its The Logical trajectory for a fight organization. You Jone's fans aren't even fucking fight fans anymore. What a bunch of fucking clowns.

Try to interpret Jon Jones words. He is basically saying nearing him is like beating Gane. Not that it's be as easy but that it's not that much different either. He said the ducking narrative came out of nowhere since he won a belt but his fight with Stipe was booked, and he wasn't even in negotiations to fight him yet... Which he is now.

Another interesting interview... Jon Jones was kinda analysing the current HW division. He had talked before now the close match he had with Reyes made him to take a time off to study the change of the game and learn the new tendencies and upgrade his game so he would keep being an "unsolved puzzle in the new era still". I timed when he specifically talked about Aspinall, this was right after Jones had defeated Gane, like, a month later and most ppl didn't even know Tom.

I'd like to see jones fight. He should crush aspinall, but maybe he has aged enough that he finally falters. Either way, it isn't make or break for his career. Whether or not aspinall mans up, jones is still the GOAT.

For the second video, put at the minute 10: 55 seconds

Actually, I got it wrong. Watch the second video from the minute 45. 45 minutes until 50 minutes, 5 minutes total. I messed up where the stuff JJ said was in.

You think that wanting the champ to fight the interim champ is hating ? Lol.

Jones needs to defend soon or just let go. I like him, he's the UFC GOAT, but for fucks sake, he made a mess in the HW division.

But you got to add to those groups the hardcore haters as well, that want to invalidade his whole career because of this HW shenaningans. Probably new fans that got in during this double champ shit era.

I'm a huge fan of Jones, been watching the dude since he before he debuted and there were threads about how this guy with a really long reach was joining the UFC. It's probably the only time in my mma history that I watched a guy early on and knew he was special and watched him turn into a MMA Goat.

That said it's 2025, its the end of his rope for his career. The HW division has been hostage for awhile, vacate or fight Aspinall. I actually favor Jones in the matchup. I don't even think if he loses it's as bad as anyone thinks because he's a division up and basically pre-retired, so to me it's a win-win no matter what happens. His real legacy is at LHW and this is just gravy.

Why fight a guy who people are going to laugh about the fact they thought he could ever beat Jones in a year or two? It’s a nothing fight for him
