Hes not that big. Mostly just cut. Easily attainable with diet and excercise.
It’s not his physique or mass that’s the give away. It’s the monster veins and the dried out skin. He might not have used to get bug, but if I was a betting man I would guess that he’s used some weaker roids to keep his mass up and growing while he dieted hard. He also definitely took some diuretic or something
I think some kind of diuretic is likely. He's clearly dehydrated and looks unsustainably lean. But AAS isn't required to look like that - like I said if that's his best superhero physique on gear, he should be ashamed of himself.
If he was both huge and ripped like John Cena, Liver King or these other super jacked show biz muppets, I'd call BS. But come on guys. This dude is paid millions to temporarily get in the best shape of his life and he's 185 lbs @ 6' 3". That's basically Abraham Lincoln.
Does this dude look like he's on gear?

He isn't 185. He is around that weight after draining his body from water by manipulating aldosterone with drinking a lot of water and stopping. You watch fighting. You know the guys don't weigh that little. You get what I mean? He has to bulk up a lot first then cut down with diet then he cuts water on top of that. You really think he slowly bulked up while shedding body fat to single digit level in a span of a few months? That type of body recomp takes a long time.
No but that guy also doesn’t look like Hugh Jackman so I don’t know why you’re asking me that. Like I said it’s not his build or leaned that I find questionable.
There's more people focused on physical fitness here than most other forums so this should be the place such bullshit gets called out.Sorry Hugh, the all seeing all knowing sherdog forums have decided you're a liar.

Jackman of Days of Future Past was probably on gear. The guy is 6'3", had obvious mass and was lean as hell. Yeah there's a possibility he was clean, but pretty damned unlikely to be the case. Shooting a movie for months and spending 12+ hrs on set doesn't help keeping up that level of conditioning on your mind 40s.
I did it in my late 20s but that's all I did. Work, gym, sleep. And I have decent genetics and respond well to exercise. He's the same it seems, but things change when you hit 40 and I just can't see being able to maintain that physique without help while spending all day on set.
But like a lot of people have pointed out, it's very easy these days to add effect with clever lighting, shading of certain areas of the body to create the appearance of better definition, not to mention simply altering the appearance with a bit of light cgi.
Literally seems like everyone else here though, are basing their accusations of steroid use purely on his appearance in the movie itself.
Genuinely wondering if there are any photos of Jackman's physique around that time that aren't from the movie.
It's been 5 months.. dude doesn't have a day job. It's not like he can compete with Jay Cutler right now, not sure why this is so unbelievableIt is because of shit like this.

He is lean bulking at 55 years old. That doesn't happen in real life in a span of a few months. He isn't even bulking up then cutting. It's been 5 months.. dude doesn't have a day job. It's not like he can compete with Jay Cutler right now, not sure why this is so unbelievable
That's a very specific angle with his arm fully loaded and tensed. Vs a picture of him relaxing and smiling. 5-6 months of hardcore training, that's not all that unbelievable. It is because of shit like this.
