How would things gone if Brock fought HMC ?s

Discussion in 'UFC Discussion' started by WarKO, Feb 16, 2016.

Remember Brock's first fight wasn't supposed to be Min Son Kim, it was Hong Man Choi but the Choi had to have surgery and it was scrapped.

    This may have changed history.

HMC was in his prime then, slow but a good kickboxer. More importantly he was a lot bigger than Brock and bullying him with weight and strength would not have been possible.

After a freak run, it was later exposed that besides good wrestling and strength Brock had little to offer in MMA and a flinch reflex which could not be helped.

I think he would have lost to HMC and then continued on the amateur circuit for a while.

Brock was a legit HW, he would have crushed Choi

apparently losing to uberReem and healthy knees Cain made him overrated

Quite possible (if he lost) but I don't think Brock would have floated around the amateur much tho - Brock can't stand being anything other than great.

He was a freakshow who was fed smaller and weaker opponents. He tapped to Reem's strikes didn't even get KO'd. That Cain loopsy cartwheel just showed how silly he was.

If he were a legit HW he wouldn't have ran back to Wrestling.

if Carwin hadn't gassed he wouldn't lost this one too.
The turtling up is really great technique.

I think brock woulda have won,but HMC might have been able to do some damage,if he could stay on his feet long enough

Brock is a legit freak athlete and would have reigned for a long time if not for his illness

All you guys need to stop being so butthurt that a pro wrestler came into mma and became the hw champ... If he started younger he would have been the best ever

Wasn't Brock scheduled to fight Mark Coleman in his UFC debut or something too? Would've been a lot easier than Mir.

If you deny what Brock Lesnar was you are a fool. Simply put ts the far superior question is if he never had diverticulitis where would he be now? Or if he ever got into a real gym where would he be? He lost the ability to bully people and it was game over from there.

Have you guys not seen Hong Man Choi fight? The only reason he ever beat anybody was because he had an absolutely incredible size advantage against the majority of his opponents. He was incredibly uncoordinated and Brock would have taken him down with ease, crushed him, grinded him into tiny pieces and bashed him into oblivion.

Fed 'weaker and smaller' opponents? Corture just happened to be the champ and that's being fed apparently. Mir weighs pretty similar as does Carwin. That argument is nonsense

Brock would have slammed him on his head and punched a hole in his skull.

Don't forget 6'4" 250lb Heath Herring. A man with 10 times as many fights as Brock.

Past his prime by then and wasn't ever that good.

I think UFC 100 Lesnar beats anyone that is not Cain, Cormier or Reem. Those 3 have the TDD and ground to get back up. Werdum like Mir, Miocic, Rothwell, JDS, all those would try to make guard and eat bombs. Maybe JDS would try to get back up

Mir was way lighter and less strong, afterwords he developed a complex and started adding more lifting and gaining weight.

Couture was like 40lbs lighter, 40 something year old, and on the verge of retiring and he was still schooling Brock till he miscalculated his reach.
