That is a big factor when it comes to listing "names" in wins, pretty much everyone Nog ever beat(besides Randy but then again neither man was) was arguably in their prime.

Part of why HW has declined so much was IMHO the UFC got by pumping peoples heads full of "nobody declines their just exposed" bullshit so each new worse generation of HW could be hyped up simply because they beat declined names from the previous generation.

The true determination of Cro Cop's career was supposed to be rematch with Fedor in 2007 that Mirko could not get due to demise of Pride and outside circumstances. Other greats in last 20 years almost all got their chance when they had a right to a title shot.
Cro Cop could have done better and smarter performance in the rematch, he was too tired in 2005, hawing had 14 fights between August of 2003 and August of 2005, and his foot injury started by kicking Magomedov to the ribs and caused him problems at least as much as Fedor's thumb.

Thank fuck he never got that 2007 rematch the way you Pride cucks say he was magically totally shot and past it when he joined the UFC only 5 months after winning the 2006 Pride GP.

Even Coleman at least won the 2000 GP a year before Nog beat him, meanwhile you have Nog himself being traded in for years by the UFC late in his career to get over newer names.

Those same names then were themselves traded in to get over the next generation and each time the standard goes down but the hardcore UFC brand fanboys cheer on because really they don't give a fuck about the sport, its just a childish game of picking a side to them, two bums fighting over some leftover Pizza would be the greatest thing they'd ever seen if you slaped the UFC brand on it.

Thank you brother, there are definitely so many things you could mention about Cro Cop. His wins in K-1 over Bob Sapp (at that time a beast), Remy Bojansky (future K-1 Dominant Champ, Mark Hunt and then to expound on that with a successful MMA career is insane. Cro Cop's dedication to the craft of martial arts, working on his wrestling, takedown defense, hiring Werdum as his BJJ coach, shows his level of commitment to the game, to martial arts. He was the best striker to enter MMA, and did it at the highest levels of the best orgs, against the best HW fighters. One of my favorite fighters of all time.
