How sex affects training

I am not to sure but i heard it causes your test to drop a bit.

I think it is such a minor thing though but it might have more effect at the top where every advantage matters.
 
As far as fight prep, it's all about the individual involved. A more calm, laid back person might want to try to abstain for a few weeks before a fight. This seems to get them a little more agitated and aggressive. I went this route a couple times before hand and I definitely found myself a lot more 'meaner' than usual.

If someone is already naturally on edge/aggressive etc. then the opposite might hold true. Don't want to be to excited or on edge before hand.
 
Personally I am way to tense if I'm not fucking, definitely a stress reliever for me. I don't have much to compare to though cause my gf is a sexaholic so i have rarely gone more than a few days for over 4 years now, but from what i remember I didnt feel better strength wise or aggression or anything while grappling when i didn't fuck.

Gotta be a personal issue. Just do it after a workout, and not before and definitely not before anything important.

the way the endorphins effect you will vary from person to person. its more physiological than actual physical effects. and also the persons base testosterone levels are important also.
 
boning the night before any type of athletic preformance always helps me. the day of not so much

they showed sex improves cardio by a ridiculous amount for like a day period.
 
Ok... So it looks like sex can help your training... But what about masturbation? Sex and masturbation have different mental effects...
 
i dont think it affects you at all since sex has nothing to do with fighting or wrestling at all.
 
I think sex is valuable since it teaches how to properly extend the hips and use the glutes, right? Certainly making the seeds down there uses up nutrients, but I think it will do that regardless of whether or not you use them a lot.

After all, if someone isn't getting any they often end up releasing them spontaneously at night, or else they get backed up and it isn't a good scene all swollen and stuff.
 
been doing some "testing" and it definitely gets me more focused if I have sex before heading off to the gym
 
actually, sex and/or masturbation actually raises testosterone levels. so for some people it's fair to say that if they go awhile without it that their levels will fall and in turn their training will suffer. most tired/less energy, loss of strength. nothing to drastic of course. but then on the other hand, sex may distract the fighter. so while he may have high testosterone levels his head might not be in the right place. all just depends on the person. i always tell my potential clients "what works for me, might not work for you."
 
the only benefit i can think of is that erections and the desire to have sex trigger testosterone, not the sexual acts themselves, and when you haven't whacked or fucked in a while your gonna be getting a lot more boners and your sex drive is gonna be up.
 
the day after sex i find myself more energetic. ill go to training hours earlier, i extend the time i do cardio by about 1/3 more. i noticed nothing different when it comes to strength.
 
1 week before a fight and the last 2 days let the ol lady play with that thing and not get off. you'll b a buck in the rutt, people will b pissin u off over nothing and u will get fighting mad
 
Just the company of a woman gets in the way of training. 6 weeks seems like a stretch.
