How often do you watch 'The Critical Drinker' reviews?

After watching this review... fuck yeah I want to watch this movie:

Of the films that I have watched that he has recommended, I have enjoyed every single one.

...and yeah, given the people on sherdog he seems to trigger the fuck out of, it's no wonder I like him.

He seems like the godfather of cynical movie reviewers on youtube.
That's probably RedLetterMedia. They've even blamed themselves for that genre, Mike specifically if I recall correctly.

Anyway, Drinker has some okay breakdowns but largely just sees woke phantoms in his dreams and complains about mermaids and lady hulks, which, who gives a shit. His schtick is annoying. It must bring in views but it sounds dumber than a second coat of paint, he's better off talking normal.

He also goes try hard sometimes to keep his rep up. I remember watching his Andor review out of morbid curiousity and he even tried to say there could've been less women or something, it was reaching so hard he landed on his face. Still baffles me.

Out of the home boys I've seen on his stuff Mauler and Chris Gore are the most reasonable (I've not watched much), I like them. The rest of his boys or at least the ones I've seen briefly are annoying rage merchants.

Never heard of it.
Let me watch one of these lamedick videos that one of you fucks posted.

I watched about 3 minutes. Didn't laugh.
It was some fuckin foreigner talking about some shit movie with a shit accent.
Is it suppose to be funny or informative?
Either way it made my dick soft.

Too political for movie reviews.

I watch movie reviews to know if the movie is worth watching but his reviews sometimes feels more like social commentary on woke-ism and feminist movement. He does do some decent job dissecting the movie sometimes, but doesn't nearly do enough of it.
For movie reviews, I prefer https://www.youtube.com/@DanMurrellMovies as he sticks to talk about movies rather than trying to tell me how Hollywood is too woke.

Critical Drinker is the rare critic I can't recall I've ever outright disagreed with any of his reviews. Disagreed on some aspects of films, yes, but never disliked a movie/show he recommends or vice-versa.

Including the movies/shows I expected to be shit, he said were great, and I found out they were better than what he said they were.

Like I heard years ago that an MMO game was coming out with a TV series based on it... my response was 'Thanks, can't wait to never watch it.'
The show comes out and I hear its pretty good... I thought 'Fans of the MMO must really like it.'

Then Critical Drinker came out with his review...

...and my reaction was 'C.Drinker is just as pessimistic as I am, and he just gushed about a show based on an MMO for 10 minutes straight?!? This show can't be that good.'

So I watched the show, fully expecting for Drinker's credibility to be knocked down a peg or two with me... and...

TLDR review -
*Drinker's video is 100% spot-on.
*It was animated in France, and its worthy of the accolades of the country's millenia-long history of being home to the world's greatest artists.
*The story is 10/10 - very mature, emotionally rich, and I bet both George RR Martin & William Shakespeare would be impressed by the quality of writing.
*It is, simply put, the best 1st Season of any show I've ever watched.

And I doubt I never would have watched unless for Drinker's review of it.

I'm subbed but I don't watch often. You can just look at the thumbnails and title of the video and get the picture. Dude has great content and perspective though.

Fearless commentator or Griftmaster General
You decide never heard of this guy but he doesn’t sound nearly as cool as Ralphy.

Nope. Never heard of him. He reviews movies? I have no desire to watch movie reviews. If he reviewed alcohol, I would definitely watch. In fact, maybe that’s what I’ll do. I could start a YouTube channel where I just sit there getting drunk and say, “This is pretty good.” Or maybe “This tastes like shit.”

I've watched him on occasion. He seems to be just another one of those reactionary cunts who thinks media is more important than marginalized people. Maybe he provides something beyond that but stopping by once or twice that was my first impression.

More of his movie stuff has popped up in my YouTube feed of late of him talking like a normal person. So much better than the fake drunk shtick.

His best work is still his earliest, especially these which put him on the map in 2019: "The Genius of The Last Jedi" and "I was SO WRONG about Captain Marvel"
