How often do you replace your phone

I don't need to work, I might think about it next year. Still living the California dream till 8 days in Vegas for U2 on Saturday.

U2 .. I'd rather be shot in the face.

Used to be every other year or so. Then I realized it was a waste of money and I've had this thing for like 5 now. It still works just fine.

Typically when something with it goes wrong. Im on my third cellphone in 15 years. Average lifespan is five years for me.

My last phone at first started to have battery life issues. Replacing it only slightly help. Then sectors of the SSD started to corrupt. Certain needed applications for work would take 5+ minutes to load and then randomly crash.

Got one in 2017, used it til it wouldn't update an app I needed. Then this phone which should go for a while longer. 2 since 17

I wonder if people that replace their phones a lot also do the same with cars either by leasing or having a never ending car payment
