The law does not give any slack if you are an aggressive drunk. However, if you are a drunk victim, the law cuts you all the slack available. If you and I are negotiating a contract in the Hotel's bar/lounge, and I get you drunk enough to sign a bad deal. You can go to the courts, and prove you were somehow intoxicated, and get that contract nullified.

The only possible way I would cut someone slack is if it was the first time they had ever been drunk. Otherwise no I wouldn't cut them any slack at all. Your an adult act like it.
