How many UFC fans are also WWE fans?

There's a huge fanbase that enjoy both. Considering the parallels, especially if you call yourself a fan of Japanese MMA, I'm surprised by how many deny ever being fans of pro wrestling

Me. Wwe these days is pretty meh, we all know that. I'm a big fan of professional wrestling in general, as are many of your favorite fighters.

After triple h took over the storylines have been nice. Especially the whole bloodline sami Kevin owens feud

Your biggest sport is soccer

A level athletes tho

Im going to 3 pro wrestling shows this month, a small family friendly indy show at the warehouses down by the airport this Saturday, a wild adult oriented indy show at a beer brewery in Berkeley next Saturday and then a big Lucha Libre spectacular in San Francisco at the end of the month
I wouldnt watch that WWE crap if my life depended on it, though!

I'm in my upper 40's and back in the day I watch WWF/WWE probably up until my mid 20's like 2003/4ish. Have watched UFC in 90's lost some interest around 2000. WWE never got back into it. UFC really got back into MMA about 2003 going in to 2004.

Yes noticeably better when triple h in charge. I used to love Vince, but he's old and senile now. It was unwatchable with him in control, they have great talent but the shows we're awful.

You can tell he has snuck back in though with the recent wrestlemania matches, matches thrown together with no back story. They use to have months long rivalries and story lines so the match really mattered. Bloodline and Sami Zane was good, but, Charlotte (who is an amazing talent) thrown together with Rhea Ripley with almost zero build up, same as Bianca and Asuka

I was a die-hard pro wrestling fan long before I was ever a fan of actual combat. I remember watching Bad News Brown smash a trophy over Bret "The Hitman" Hart's head after they co won a battle royale. I thought it was the most despicable, cowardly thing as a kid and had to watch to see if the dude in the pink ever got him back. The art of pro wrestling has truly been lost though, the characters are unappealing, the story lines are lame, the moves resemble video games and look too choreographed to resemble anything close to plausible. The promos are horrible and cringey, the story arcs genuinely have little to no pay off. Everything that made pro wrestling great just doesn't exist anymore and it's because this younger generation of performers don't listen to those that paved the way because they think they know how the business works. Wrestling will never get back to what it was because the wrestlers are now marks for themselves.
All of that applies to the old stuff you used to enjoy, only now you are grown up and see it for what it is.

Well it's all over now since VinMan came back to make sure the product is terrible again

I’m 36. LOVED the Attitude Era as a kid. Kane was my favorite wrestler. Got out of it around 1999 though. Got back into WWE as a casual from about 2009-2014. Got to attend Survivor Series (I think it was) 2010 the night the Nexus was formed. The Nexus was epic while it lasted. Been completely out of Wrestling for about 8 Years now though. Don’t know what the heck is going on or who’s popular these days. I saw Kane is mayor somewhere in Tennessee, that’s effing amazing lol. I can’t help but point out how absolutely fascinated I was by the Kane/Undertaker/Mankind feud as a kid. Ahh the nostalgia hits hard

About 2002/2003 I think is when I stopped watching (33 now, and I absolutely fucking agree.

I think my fondest memory of pro wrestling was the WrestleMania with The Rock/Stone Cold kept using the other guys finisher on each other.
