Strength/Mass How many actual strength athletes are in your gym?

How long do you think would it take me to beat Mr Eskimos squat in regular squats ? I got the fatest thighs, but I don't squat, I do BW squat and rarely jump squat. Now if I wanna do like 275 regular squats for 8 reps. How long do I have to squat. He doesn't look that strong besides his calves, his calves look really big. What are your stats Hamna ? Height, weight.

I recommend the Bill Starr training program. It isnt as time consuming as the Doug Hepburn system and it will get you stronger with the right type of exercises. It's a great entry to anyone who wants to get very strong on the powerlifts and the Olympic lifts while still allowing you energy to train in your martial art. The full Hepburn program will leave you no energy for martial arts training.

I don't do programs. I just like squat 2x a week if I want to get better at squatting. I'm totally non program an diet person. I just gotta show up regulary. Last years I average like 5x a month. Now today was my 3rd in a row, previous two days were and hour kickboxing on a long bag.

I can do one strict pull up despite that bodyweight, bro.

Ok that explains why you look so thick. Rewatched my video after yours and was like.... hmmm wasn't I supposed to look heavy thick too. And respect that you're honest bout stats and don't just say you're 6'2 ect ect.

I'm Filipino. But I am hoping that I actually am one of Genghis Khan's 12 million descendants if I ever get a DNA test. I can easily claim that because I look Mongolian enough.

Of all the things that were promised that didn't happen I think I'm most hurt by not getting the shout out that might have been heard by tens or maybe even dozens of viewers in the coming millennium . I coulda bin a star man. This is the worst Christmas ever!

Trust me, I wanted to do it. I really did. But I just was being careful. This is the gym that I work at and I just wanted to maintain my civil, gentle persona. Calling you, or Max, or Oblivian out and then cussing you out might have had some people think I'm an asshole...

@Baby Hanma Your fails kind of baffle me. There is no reason you shouldn't have been able to get a 5th or even 6th rep there. You'd benefit quite a bit by taking a second before you try the next rep once it starts getting tough. I noticed the same thing on the back squats. There is no reason to back squat the way you did.

I'm fast twitch dominant. Fat girls back in high school used to outrun me in a mile. I'm 260 pounds and my vertical jump height is 24 inches. Who the heck can jump 24 inches at freaking 5'6, 260 pounds?

You don't take advice well, do you? I've seen many oly lifters who are fast as shit grind out reps on back squats and front squats. You can call what you are doing as explosive, and you aren't slow, but you are also rushing. That's why you have questionable depth on the back squat set as well as no lockout. You'd be much better served to gather yourself in between reps, stay in position, and get more reps.

I thought you were a "totally raw bro" and "A2G bro". I'd have assumed you squatted much deeper.

I take advantage of this. Lock out and micro pauses.

He is non stop keeping his muscles under tension which burns him out quicker.

And no he won't take advice.

He'll just say he is athletic for this or that reason. I mean those are basically regular powerlifting numbers ? Nothing for a competition ? So he literay isn't an athlete. He does lift weights and train, but it isn't enough to compete ?
