Economy How is India So Cheap?

Because it's a complete shithole unless yr a Brahman. 95% of all public defecation is done in India as well. Plus female infanticide and child rape is normalized. Fucked up culture and extremely poor.

It's India. The entire country is basically competing in the hunger games.

If you ever get the Indian street food algorithm on your social media...you'll get the answer to your question.

Okay. Pakistan. Somalia. Rural china. How do you live. On 5 cents an hour? Is the food free, is it subsidized, do these 600 million ppl own land and eat the food off the land. Do they go in a jungle and eat fruit. That wage is lower than the value of the land and water and raw materials needed to make food.

Ignoring transportation, housing, taxes, 40 cents a day isnt enough to buy the bare minimum amount of calories needed to survive. At least by any method ive seen.

How much does food cost in rural India or rural China. Also, India is a country not an eth
Where are you getting that 40 cents figure?

The average daily wage ranges from $5 a day on the lowest end (rural female worker) to $74 a day (IT manager).

I'm broke and a virgin.

I’ll never understand why its ok to talk this way about Indians but not other ethnicities.
Because a small sliver of Indians go to western countries, get top jobs, and make a lot of money.
So suddenly the values get shifted and it’s ok to talk shit about Indians based on that. It’s ok to rip on India for how they treat their Muslims, while forgetting how the Muslims treated Hindus for 100’s of years (and took half their land to create 2 Islamic states). It’s ok to rip Indians for demolishing the mosque in Ayodhya, the holy kingdom of Rama (while ignoring that a non-Muslim may not even enter Mecca).
These poops constantly acknowledge the native tribe whose land their college is on, but never question the fact that such a concept would be outlandish from college students in Karachi or Islamabad.
College age Indian girls are the worst, the absolute worst, about disrespecting their own culture in order to score points with the far leftists, it’s just disgusting.

Because they have 1.3 billion people. If an Indian refuse to work for 5 cents, they can find someone else that will accept it.
It's true, I worked at a big tech company when I graduated from college and they had me manage 3 people in India who combined, made what I was making. I'd do meetings once a week at 9 PM since it was during their work day. You could hear chickens and all kinds of stuff in the background because they'd work from internet cafes.

Been there. There is absolutely zero concern about hygiene, safety issues, workers safety, etc.

Our bus got in a crash with a taxi. They just yelled at each other for a bit then we went on our way.

The Ganges River is literally polluted and teeming with shit yet people wash in it, fill water containers for cooking from it, etc.

It’s an interesting place to say the least

Only issue I have with indian culture is racist nepotism is absolutely rampant. Plus scamming is prominent in everything.

All of the results are from Statista.

India isn't as poor as you think - sure people living in rural farming settings are surviving on less than $5 a day, but educated people in major urban centers like Mumbai and Delhi are making orders of magnitude more. It's a country of ridiculous extremes and disparities in wealth, but nobody is living on less than a dollar a day.

Worst country i've ever been to. i've been all over africa and even if they are poor and dirty, i never felt that you're in danger just by walking around, as i did in india. a fetid, hopeless nightmare.
