How do you rate Jon's legacy as a Heavyweight?

1. Coward
2. Criminal
3. Cheater

All facts. Not fighter bashing. All documented.

Jones was pickier at HW than a spoiled child at lunch. Appeared unsure and intimidated.

Not much of a heavyweight legacy……a few solid wins to add to his insane 205 career

What a pussy, never my goat, his steroid usage, cheating dirty fighting style and now ducking aspinal nope not the goat, GSP is the goat.

he went out on a legacy of cheating and elder abuse. The Stipe thing hurt his legacy. Only jon could be dumb enough to harm his legacy with a win

He doesn’t really have a legacy at HW, he beat one person, that’s similar to GSP beating Bisping.

His LHW legacy is S tier though.

Zero value to me. All he did was beat Gane. Yeah that was a decent win at the time, but it wasn't worth all this other bullshit. And of course I give him zero credit for dragging Old Man Stipe out of retirement. If anything taking that fight is a negative.

I don't rate it at all. He'll be known more for what he didn't do, as opposed to what he did.

Allowed to cherry pick opponents to get the belt and get a defense. Tucked his dick and ran at the sight of real competition. Hes a coward at the end of the day.
Cherry picked? He fought the number 1 guy in the division, you know Gane the guy who gave Ngannou all he could handle? How is that cherry picking literally fought the last guy who fought for the Belt, who else was there? Ngannou was gone. Who Jones had fought? Aspinall who was coming off a lost to Blaydes? Or fight a Curtis Blaydes? And him fighting Miocic was a legacy type of fight, you know the kinds of fight the PrideFC would put on and get everyone would be pre cumming all over the place. Him being a coward is your opinion, his body of work says otherwise.

He would not have fought Gane if he didnt see how shit his ground game was

After more than a decade of teasing, he finally stepped up and racked up wins there against Cyril "K.O." Gane and active first responder Stipe Miocic.
Worst HW champ of all time. A complete waste of a reign.

Yea… okay, that sounds like it’s Ganes problems not Jones. By the way, this forum rampant on how Gane was going to stuff Jones takedowns because Gane gave Olympic Wrestler Francis Ngannou a hard fight on the ground. But sure I guess Jones cherry picked the number 1 fighter at HW in the org. Yep coward he is, you haters really irrational at this point. in 14months he fought Bader, Shogun, Jackson, Machida, and Evan’s. But somehow the dude is a coward, because he fought the number 1 available HW since Ngannou left.

If Stipe was his last fight, why didn't he retire right then and there? Why drag it out, wasting Tom's prime years and holding up the entire division for no good reason? Jon spent his last year as a duck, refusing to fight a man who's been on an absolute tear and has the potential to be one of the greatest heavyweights the UFC has ever seen.
Why didn't Jones give up his belt if the UFC wasn't asking him to?

I dunno, why didn't Tom either?

*Cue your outrage*

Even worse than GSP's move up. At least GSP beat a legit champion.

He beat 2 best of HW eva: Stipe and Gane.

At lhw he's head and shoulders above everyone.
It depends on how you feel about the failed drug tests.

At hw he committed the career equivalent of hiding under the cage from the one guy who could give him problems the same way he did from drug testers.
