How do we feel about the #1 ranking at HW?

lol Aspinall is just the new Stipe. Nothing too amazing, and if you think Ngannou's knees are shot, wtf happened to Aspinall against Blaydes the first time? That's what shot knees look like.
Too much dumb

Well played....

.... retard

Until Francis loses in MMA Tom isn't #1 HW IMO. Francis has beat everyone Tom has (except for Volkov and Pav) and more.
Or another way to put it, Tom has beat everyone Francis has (except a couple) and more

Think before you post

Once Francis fights again should the resume his rank as #1?
No.

It would depend entirely on who he fought, how long he'd been out, what other fighters had achieved in his extended absence and probably more

He's fighting a shithouse fighter in PFL. So clearly it's a no.

What happens once Francis fights again? He should then resume his #1 rank. He’s the lineal champ.
No matter how many times you post the same weak ass argument in slightly different words, it's still logically flawed and wrong on many counts

I'll think before I post when you learn how to not double post and start using the "insert quote" function

francis being the lineal champ isn't logically flawed. you're being a ufc fangirl. Francis beat the guy and hasn't lost in mma since then.

I'm saying this now.
If Jon retires after Stipe Francis is coming back to the UFC.

the best HW in the world?
can u please post his biggest wins
and please dont include ancient fighters like jds overeem and cain in his notable wins
best HW in the world went life and death vs gane

jones strangled gane like hes a child that doesnt know how to fight
Francis beat the lineal champ in stipe and hasn't lost since then. that's better than anything tom or jon has done in the division.

Birth records in Africa aren't the best kept records in the world. It's a lot easier to lie about your age or not even be completely sure about when exactly it was.

But anyway, we saw the problems Francis had with his knee in the Gane fight and we know it was a problem for him before then. It's reasonable to speculate one of the reasons he wanted to go into boxing is because it's a lot easier to physically train for and do instead of MMA. It's also reasonable to speculate his knees aren't any better now than they were then.
so because francis is from Africa he's 43? that makes no sense.

No, that's not right. Under your flawed logic, the lineal champ could take a 20 layoff, come back as a 55-year-old and beat a local circuit club fighter, and magically regain his position as #1. It's absurd on its face. You're just trolling at this point.
This isn't a 20 year layoff. people have been layed off for 2 years before with injury win and resume their ranking before. this isn't something insanely new.

What happens when Francis fights Fereira? He should be ranked #1 again, correct? If he wins of course.
Ferreira lost 3 fights in a row a year ago, he is not a good measuring stick of where Ngannou is at. Ngannou should blow right through him, if he does anything other than that it will actually make him look bad.

That's crazy talk. The Jones fight is literally the only thing that could entice him back because of the money to be made.

Frerreira also recently defeated the reigning Bellator HW Champ. Also, losing to two steroid users do not count as losses. Even if Francis has a 5 round war, he's still done more in the division than Tom and Jones and will have continued his ongoing MMA streak. Francis has beaten interim champs like gane and the lineal champ stipe. those two wins alone put him over anything Tom has done.

That AV is distracting my man....

He got beat by Tyson Fury who never got off the couch while he spent 6 hours a day training, lol

Yeah but were talking in an mma context. Are you pretending Francis doesn't have knee problems? That kind of makes it hard to train and perform in MMA rather than boxing. Of course the money was probably the primary driver behind Francis going to boxing but his knees might have been a secondary reason to go with that.
