How do I get my 10 year old brother into UFC/MMA?

If he's really as talented as you say, then keep him the hell away from MMA lol. Let him try his hand at all the other sports you listed.
I totally agree, but on the same token, i learn my kids how to fight ( not how to get cte, tehnique and yes they beat on me) its good to at least know how to fight, but pro fighting is brutal in all aspect.

Get him to watch you training or join in with you.

Also if he is good at other sports, let him be good at those sports. He is 10.
Specializing at that age in sport isn;t needed.
If I could find a boxing class that will take a 33 year old with no experience and a 10 year old I'd consider this.
You are an idiot if you want your brother to get into a sport where even guys at the top end up broke when he is showing promises in sports where if you reach the top you could amass such wealth that his entire family would be taken care of.

easier to get to the top of mma, harder to get scouted for soccer/baseball/basketball as a canadian. Hockey doesn't even make much money and is more dangerous than mma. Though as a black hockey player he'd stand out a bit

Invite 20 of his 10 year old friends over. Show them 20 quick YouTube mma clips.
Then lock them in a cage that you build in your backyard. 2 at a time. Make them fight till submission or knock out. Tournament style. Winner gets pizza, coca cola, and cake. Losers sit and watch the winner eat - then go home hungry.

This will add a fire to that natural competitive edge he already has.

Bro, Id make the prize a Nintendo switch 2 and a ps5 pro. See some blood for sure.

MMA takes a whole lot more than just being a good athlete.
Unwavering self-confidence, acknowledgement that you're going to take continuous damage, deal with injury and clear indication that your brother is the type that likes to fight would be the bare minimum.
The best way to start would be to get him involved in wrestling which will uncover whether he has many of the traits required to be successful.
the unfortunate thing is most canadian schools dont have wrestling programs if his school had that i would ABSOLUTELY push him towards doing that. Seems to be a mostly american thing

teach him to fight and get into a fight at school, wow the girls
I envy the kid, He doesn't even seem to know girls exist yet.

He excels at everything he tries and is an apex predator competitively speaking, It's odd. as an adult I feel like women (and the prospect of) motivate me far more than anything. I wonder what Drives a 10 year old to do his best at everything?

Show him this clip. Plant the seeds.

If he's not laughing and smiling the entire way, then don't bother. If yes. then let nature take it's course, it will come to him eventually.

Punch him in the face while screaming, "Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor".

or

Take him for a drive while playing this song on repeat:

Sign up yourself to whatever, do it for a few years and eventually he might become interested through you.
At worst you get better. I saw you mention before about getting to see fights.

It's not worth it. MMA is cool and I love watching it, but less than 1% of athletes earn a respectable income from it.

I'd be sad as fuck if I had to walk my brother to the car in the parking lot barefoot after watching him get KTFO can't lie Of course I'd be 50+ years old at that point in time but still

In seriousness keep him away from mma for now.

Get him into wrestling. Great base. Start now. It is very competitive and aggressive. Wrestle in middle school, high school and college. Become a champion. In High school add ju jitsu to the mix. In College add boxing. After college train mma for two years and pick up amateur then pro fights in the minor leagues. 2 years after college you will have a machine ready to join the UFC and become a long time champ.

hmm strange. i'm a western Canadian who's well past school age now but wrestling was included in phys-ed and our school also had a wrestling club. Times change so that may be a thing of the past.
That being said, MMA schools are popping up everywhere and you could easily get him in there to see if its a fit for him.

Test his eye poke resilience before encouraging him to embark on a career in the worst professional sport in terms of dollars for damage and effort.

Strategically you should push him towards the sport which requires the most expensive equipment you can afford. It reduces the playing field. Mma can be trained anywhere there are people, so anywhere labour is cheap will be better for training(at least initially).

This is the correct answer, of course.

Otherwise, find a smaller kid who has been training for several years and set up a friendly lesson or spar. When your brother gets humiliated, his competitive fires will be stoked and he will be *begging* you to sign him up at a local gym.

We have different mothers, But my father is jamaican so of course he had to have a kid at age 48 smdh

I'm like wayyyyyy to big, Im 33 years old lol

Ya know what? Even I haven't watched. Maybe we could bond over it lmao
Heh, didn’t think I’d find somebody with a bigger age gap than me (32) and my brother (11) on here.

Hate to say it but to get lil bro into mma u gotta beat him up a bit and submit him until he desires to learn mma
