I know the guys recommending a 30-30 or a .357 as the optimal caliber to stop an angry grizzly bear aren't hunting guides and aren't going to get someone killed, so it's not important.
Yes, there are certainly people here who know what they're talking about, I learn a lot from them. But none of them are talking about .357s against angry grizzlies.
