Horses Dead in the first and fourth race at Pimlico

The winner of the first race collapsed and died on the way to the winners circle. Another horse broke a leg in the 4th race and had to be euthanized.

The first horse was 9 years old and the second 4. The second one fell but it's difficult to tell if the fall caused the leg break or if the break caused the fall.

I'm no horse scientist, but I really do think these horses enjoy the sport. Aside from the dieing from it part. They've been bred to do this. That's their shit. If there was any metric to measure how much fun a horse was having, I bet they'd be off the charts for shit like this.
