Crime Horrible Japanese mass murder this time by fire

The article was not just about the fire, the article was about the studio. The studio employed twice as many women, in an industry that apparently employs few women. It is something that the studio was specifically known for.

Did you read the article?

In an attack where 13 men die and 20 women die, I don't feel like there's a necessity to emphasize the women dying, over the men dying.

If the headline was reversed to concern men rather than women, you'd realize how awkward and out of place it seems.

With a headline like
Japan Fire Killed Mostly Women, at a Studio Known for Hiring Them" ?

You are telling me to believe that article wasn't about reporting the fire but a general piece about that studio?

Nothing to do with it being a strongly socialist state that has well funded public services and protects workers rights? Don't worry though Abe is doing his best to stop that.
Protects workers rights? Don't most workers in Japan work like 12 hour days?

I think I'd be concerned for my mental health if I read that particular article and found myself feeling divided or offended.
I think I would jump to personal attacks if I had to defend the media at all costs.

Then why was that the headline? It doesn't correlate. The purpose of headline to give you a glimpse of the content inside, not deceiving you.

Both of the headlines made it very clear that the articles were about both the studio and the fire.

Here are the article headlines:

Kyoto Animation studio: Destruction is a terrible loss for both humanity and art

Japan Fire Killed Mostly Women, at a Studio Known for Hiring Them

Those headlines make it very clear that you are about to hear about much more than just a fire. But I'm off to see a movie. You guys enjoy the bizarre outrage. I just don't even come close to understanding this one.

For the record, those are really well written articles.

Can you explain the method you used to reach into the conclusion from that headlines like

"Kyoto Animation studio: Destruction is a terrible loss for both humanity and art"
"Japan Fire Killed Mostly Women, at a Studio Known for Hiring Them"

that It wasn't about the fire but the studio?

I am a simple normie & my comprehension says that they both of these outlets were reporting about the fire, But then you are not I & I do not have a generational mind like you. So it would be good for normies like us if you can explain the mental gymnastic you used to reach into that conclusion. Asking for that superior insight of yours.

I guess we are supposed to give less of a shit if it was men that burned to death.
I think it more so emphasises the low birth rates in Japan. They need all of the women and children they can get.

Anyways, it's a sad story. RIP to the victims.

Not really. The island is stacked already at 120+ million population, including cities that populate up to 10 million people (boasting the largest population density in all the world).

If their population continues to grow, they'll perish like the reindeers at St. Matthew Island. One proper earthquake and they're fucked.

Japan having low birth rates ought to be considered a blessing.

Besides, Japan's problem in that regard (if you consider it a problem) is that the men aren't willing to breed anymore.

If it's like the slow drip that it was to get all the Gundam Unicorn episodes released I can understand frustration. Took FOR FUCKING EVER.

I'm still waiting on the season 2 dub of OPM... And am not happy.

Only octopuses seem to be banging hot Japanese chicks these days. Lucky fucking cephalopods!

I did some reading on this studio and found out they not only have female animators, but directors as well. One of their biggest hits was directed by a woman and it's about a teenage boy who bullies a deaf girl who later gets transferred because the whole school taunted her. He later tries to reconnect and apologize and they form a connection.

I thought that was a really sweet plot, and not one you'd see from a typical male animator. This studio wasnt about tits and tentacles.
