Home Alone is like the perfect family movie to me.

The score, the cast, the premise. Everything just hits the perfect notes all the way through. There is zero filler and every little scene has a purpose, like the foreshadowing scenes of the tarantula escaping and the Old Man Marley shovel-murder tale which he later uses to save the day.

Maybe I'm too old, but I never got the appeal of Home Alone.

So, It's a Wonderful Life wins out.
