Regardless of your opinion, both pot and aspirin are on the banned substance list, rightly or wrongly.

I'm not debating whether the drug he used should or shouldn't be on the list. My argument is that one got a 5 year suspension that wasn't warranted and everyone freaks out. The other got a lifetime ban that wasn't warranted, everyone turned against him.

I don't know this 100%, but if UFC let's these guys go, one would assume they can continue with MMA in Brazil and Japan, or even Russia. UFC is just as responsible.

Besides. let us not forget two simple FACTS:
1) The other fighter, on the same fight was on PED. He got suspended for one year only. If PED gives you one year, Weed should give you a fraction of it. And if it is his third time, then award a punishment proportional to his "crime". But IMHO PED should get the highest punishment, irregardless of how many times that person was caught.

2) the evidence casted a lot of doubt that Diaz smoked. NAC should have no authority to pick only what they like and ignore the rest. This is the opposite of justice.

If the UFC let Diaz and Silva out of their contracts knowing that they would break the agreement/ban of 5 years the commission could come down on the UFC. Business wise it doesn't make sense. People tend to get attached to fighters and forget that there are the fighters and then there is a company that has to follow the AC's.

Minnesota couldn't just go ahead and play AP just because they disagreed with the NFL commissioners judgement. AP couldn't just go play for the CFL or some other league. He was screwed as well. But they had to let it play out.

The NAC is a joke and the term will be lowered more than likely to a year or two but you just have to let it play out and see.

Silva ran from the test not the UFC. The Diaz situation with 2 clean tests vs 1 dirty is very suspect and a joke. It will take time but he will be back sooner than later.

In a makes you physically stronger form it isn't but it does enhance your performance. Rogan has said it is much better to grapple on the tree and also has said it does help with pain tolerance. Being an avid supporter of both I will take his word for it.

In Nick's case though seeing as he had 2 clean tests I believe he got screwed this time around. No way should he have gotten 5 years and the lady that suggested the lifetime ban should be fired.

From what I have heard and from conversations I have had with people living in Colorado and Washington if you piss hot even though it is legal you will still lose your job. So you can do it but you just can't while working. In this case he still would have been screwed.

You still have not answered the following:

1.) Diaz was not punished despite all the evidence proving that the test he tested for was not reliable even the AC admitted that, yet they decided to punish him anyway.
2.) Wand literally ran from the test I agree that the punishment is too much, but the way he conducted himself really did not do him any favors.

You see its a total different story, hence Wands situation(who did something wrong) and Diaz situation (who as proven did nothing wrong) should not be compared.


And I have made this clear in my previous posting you just looked for reasons to go around these points just so you could keep crying how unfair it is and how hypocritical everyone on sherdog wah wah wah.
