Aldo was doing everything short of pulling a Roberto Duran and telling the ref he was quitting at the end. It would've been a crime against humanity giving him the decision after that, and anybody crying robbery is simply blinded by emotional fanboyism. Hey, I've been there, I know how impossible it is to be objective sometimes. It was an exciting round but he got his head dribbled like a basketball for 2 minutes and also looked closed to finished from exhaustion alone. That running kick was a thing of beauty but Aldo still lost round 3 for me.
Even Aldo himself knew he was done. That says it all right there. Not a single word of protest from him about it.
