I thought Aldo had all the advantages going into round 3 but Zahabi mounted a roaring comeback. Aldo should have won by the slightest of margins but with the ending like in a real fight Zahabi would have killed him with that recovery and onslaught.

It was an exciting round but he got his head dribbled like a basketball for 2 minutes and also looked closed to finished from exhaustion alone. That running kick was a thing of beauty but Aldo still lost round 3 for me.

Zahabi scored way better in round 2 and then done way more damage and dominated for longer in round 3.

Easy win for Zahabi.

And he did it making BW vs a guy who didn't even try to make BW and just did FW instead. Aldo knew what he was doing. That's rat behavior from Aldo.

Not every decision you disagree with is a robbery. Round 2 was a pretty ordinarily close round. Unlike the Bukauskas win, which was also not really a robbery, this wasn't even a bad decision, just a close fight.

My philosophy is if one guy needs the benefit of the doubt in more rounds than the other guy in order to give it to him, he probably didn’t win.

To give Zahabi the fight you have to give him the benefit of the doubt in both a close round where nothing defining happened AND a round where he got dropped twice.

To give the fight to Aldo, you only need to give him the benefit in either of them, not both like Zahabi. Bad decision in my opinion.
