I wish they would chill the f out on the "superfights" and interim title fights just to fill the top of a card.

Adesanya vs Jan was super unnecessary, and they've done a few of those fights lately. It hurt both their images imo and decreased their stock. Nothing major, im sure, but none the less.

My biggest grape of all though is that they insist on having main events as title fights no matter what. Even if it means stripping rightful champions like Ngannou so we can see Lewis vs Gane for the belt. Is that really increasing their number on PPV? We couldn't have just had Gane vs Lewis for #1 contender? Really?

How in the fuck didn't beating Izzy make Jan's stock go down?

It sent it to a new level where he's was -335 against a guy ranked higher than him for 95% of both their careers.

Yep. Same with Colby and RDA. Both had plans to sit and wait for their TS against Woodley so they made the dumbest interim title ever to get them to fight each other.

Woodley literally defended the undisputed title the next month vs Till (iirc) and smoked him.

But yeah back to the main point interim title lure fighters into taking fights when they plan on sitting.

A interim LW title is coming soon. Remember I said that.

I mean, I guess a little? He's still a dominant MW, just too small maybe to beat an elite LHW

It would've been awesome for him if he'd won but sometimes when you take risks they don't pan out

Anyway there was already video floating around of Izzy getting knocked out in kickboxing if anybody really thought he was unbeatable
