I tried to confirm 100% before I posted but couldn't find anything this time around, but I am 99% sure he is. The reason I am so sure Is because my fiancé is also a philosophy major and I remember thinking one day on Luke's podcast "that explains it" while Luke was making some kinda "I know whats best for everything" remark.

I think you might be right, now that you mention it, I think he did reference that he was a double major; philosophy and something else.

No, what's even more humerous is a guy who literally cries about integrity, but hides the fact that he was on the payroll of the company that he's reporting on. And he dares to mention the late great Walter Kronkite was his journalistic hero, and a reporter he wanted to emulate?

Personally, I think he is great at what he does, but he did accept salary & a job from someone he was supposed to cover.
He also was sitting backstage at a UFC event as their guest, when he stole their thunder about Brock returning.
UFC had every right to be pissed, but took it too far IMO & turned Ariel into a martyr.
But he is a whiny, little instigator as well as a fun guy to have covering MMA
He also took UFC's money & deserves the heat for doing so.

UFC produces their events.
Including the pre & post shows.
Fox pays UFC to air these events (like every other produced TV show) & then the producer pays the cast/on-air personalities

UFC Tonight was a Fox produced show & Fox hired him directly & paid him, but the weigh-ins & prepost were UFC events

This is not news & Ariel even explained it during the 2hr martyr fest

I like Luke, but man he can annoy the shit outta me with some of the drivel that comes out of his mouth. But he's gotten better the last few months. And I will freely admit, he is a smart dude and very knowledgable about mma
