Helwani gain credibility during prefight presser?

Not joking, but I was never a Broc fan nor was I a hater, more indifferent to him. This interview really put him on a human level, he really is a self made man, through sheer hard work and will. I have a lot of respect for Brock Lesnar, he wouldn't give a shit if I did or not, but that's the kind of dude he is.

I was pleasantly surprised that Stone Cold was able to draw out so much of his backstory. His interviewing skills have gotten really good now.

There is also a shitload of respect that Brock has for Steve, so it was easier for Austin than a stranger.

That is a great point
If Arial broke something like a fighter was suspended & UFC was hiding it (or something) then breaking it while in their house is valid.
But he could have said "Wait until you hear the added bout to UFC 200 tonight" & everyone would be happy & he would still look like Mr. Scoops

It's all he had to do. But he got greedy plus I think he wanted to stick it to Dana and Zuffa for the shabby treatment and the disrespect over the years.

Brock is a good guy
Just his honesty can go from refreshing to callous depending on the sensibility of the person hearing it.
In MMA, I find it shocking to read "Brock was rude" ... lol

He's brutally candid without tact or filter, that's just the way he is.

I agree 100%
I like Ariel, but he is that guy that you know would run back to your g/f to gossip that you were flirting with a chick.

Its so silly to read "He is playing a WWE character in UFC" & shit like that
Brock barely plays one in WWE lol

Yea, Brock knows Steve is a good ole boy, who put the time in, and made it on his own steam. He respects him for that.

Lol he can't act, that's basically him playing himself. Over the years he's loosened up though.

Also, I defend his RIGHT to do it, why come on man they gonna show a commercial like in a hr, why even break it an hr or two before they doing it anyway?

Funny thing is Rampage hated Ariel because Ariel saying online "you don;t love your GF of 3 years? why have you never told her?" then she dumped him and Rampage hated Ariel

Luke.. Is only slighter better, I find his elitist condescending attitude only slightly more palatable than smug asskissing Ariel.
He can be a too aggressive and stubborn on a point, but so can most people. Elitist and condescending I find a bit of a stretch.

The best & most credible IMO is Dave Meltzer
In MMA, he doesn't get into the gossipy side of reporting, but more the hard facts.
He is a different reporter than Ariel, Iole & Luke though, but they all put him over as the go-to guy for the business end.

The more I'm watching the more the writing was on the wall in regards to his comeback. He basically says it

Really? That was October of 2015

Yeah man, says he knows where he wants to be in his future but isn't telling anyone, says he felt robbed by his illness and still feels competitive, basically you could hear a few things in last 30 min

LoL I was going to bring up the rampage situation too, but since I'm impartial to him and that incident I let it go

He was robbed by diverticulitis. I kinda knew what it was, but until 5 weeks ago in Pathophysiology I didn't fully understand what the disease was.

I don't get the Ariel hate. The dude's the absolute best in the biz, oh nvm, that's why he gets the hate.

I haven't re-watched since the announcement.
Now I will
