Helwani gain credibility during prefight presser?

All of the great fights we have to look forward too and you're worried about Ariel Helwani?
 
I was just a little surprised that's all.. Brock seems to be a pretty abrasive guy.. If he knew who he was i think he would of made a smart ass comment.

And im not concerned about Helwani, i just thought it dispelled the rumors entirely that Brock was the one to want Helwani rid of his press credentials.. by seemingly not knowing who he was.

That was never a story
Brock said he had no idea of Ariel.
Ariel said Dana told him that Brock's team was pissed the news leaked, but not that Brock cared enough to have his credentials taken lol

Its Brock for chrissakes - he would not do that

Helwani said in interviews that the people inside the UFC claimed Brock was behind him being asked to leave and lose his press credentials during the Bisping/Rockhold fight. And i just found it odd that if the rumors had any truth that Brock should of known who he was at the presser.

Ok, i haven't followed the story that closely.. It just seemed with everything that happened that Brock would have one of those smiling/laughing reactions rather than what he did. But hey, Cheers!

I think you're reading way too much into this, and Brock clearly knows who Ariel is.

Except that's exactly the OPPOSITE of what just happened in his career. They paid him, he spoke to fighters about free agency and broke the Conor story regardless. Fox then fired him. The UFC paid him and gave him credentials, he broke the Brock 200 story regardless. They took away his credentials. Only after severe pressure did they give him back his credentials.

I don't believe Brock doesn't know who Ariel is, but I will agree that I find it hard to believe Brock would care if Ariel spoilt his return...Brock doesn't seem to give a fuck about much.
