In terms of the actual results and level of domination its gotta be Anderson. He barely got touched for years on end.
Saying Jones never got his man strength is hilarious and honest but irrelevant in a world that Money Mayweather reigned on top of boxing for over a decade. The fact is although Pereira has more exciting KO’s he has also been KO’ed and nowhere near half the striking hi lights of Jones. I FULLY understand people see the potential for him to have as many legendary moments as a Jones or a Silva in mma but that would be a fucking lie. Izzy has had bad monents but far more fights and highlights as well. This is a reason I look at the top comments on sherdog and it is consistent in biasIzzy was outstruck several times in his prime and appears to be unable to adapt mid-fight when his opponents are having success…. That takes him out of “greatest” and leaves him as one of the best ever.
Jones never got his man strength and in all his fights lacks a 1 punch KO…. He walks with kings but is not the greatest.
Leaving Anderson and Alex and I wish Alex had a longer MMA career, because I think he has tricks up his sleeve that we haven’t seen…. and also his opponents have had only a couple years to try to figure him out….
So today I say Anderson with Alex a little behind but with great momentum for tomorrow

It’s funny nonethelessIt’s more like a semi-relevant observation about the “man strength”
Even during his 205 title run, I was always expecting Jones to acquire the one shot KO, and strangely it never happened.
He destroyed a lot of “men” so yeah he had plenty of strength…..
His lack of a one shot KO doesn’t even diminish his greatness in the cage….. just an interesting fact.
I think had he faced Poatan in his prime, he would probably get knocked out. He was a great fighter, but those antics/clowning he used in fights would possibly be his downfall against someone like Poatan. It's easy to showboat and look good against strikers who aren't that great, like Forrest Griffin.I mean Anderson Silva literally has knockouts with his hands, elbows, knees, and kicks. All 8 points of striking used with deadly precision.
