Crime Headlining Crime Megathread Vol 4.

Shut the fuck up

LMAO how bad is it when it's a thread about a white cop shooting a black guy and Queen B's reply is not the most ridiculous one on the page?

Silly ass troll has never shot a gun, probably has never seen one outside of on TV, and he's yapping about where cops should be aiming and shit like that. His response if someone ever advanced on him with a knife like that would be a two step process. He'd first poop his pants, then allow himself to be stabbed to death while telling the black man "I'm so sorry for what we've done to you, I deserve this!"

It's a clean shoot

But it's also one of those gray area ones where there might have been another way.

I shoot. I don't think for a second it isn't possible to blast out someone's thighs. And don't tell me about that arteries you probably have a better chance hit in the femoral than the heart and lungs.

Every situation is different and I wish the rules for the police took that into account. Also think the stick should be brought back as an option. Sometimes you need to fuck someone up real bad but not quite kill them and that tool seems to be missing.

Another way that could have left the officer's life in danger. For fucks sake the guy was sprinting straight at him with a knife. And you want the officer to engage the guy in melee combat?

Your take is equally as ridiculous as the people who watch the George Floyd video and think Chauvin is innocent.

In before @Queen B says he should have shot the knives out of his hand.

This looks like a clean shoot to me but I'm interested to see what the diverse personalities around here think.

That’s why we need to defund the police.
A social worker would have talked to him and diffused the situation.

Why is it either/or? Can't we have both? The wingnuts on this forum act like we can't both improve policing and lower the crime rate.

A crazed man with a knife charging at an officer is asking to get shot. An autistic teenager throwing a tantrum needs either a social worker or more capable parents.

I grew up in a household with several problematic children. All well adjusted adults today. I can imagine things could have ended very differently if my parents weren't so involved in social work themselves and had relied on the police.

What in the actual fuck

Austin Hopp, the arresting officer who bent Garner’s arm behind her back as she bent over a patrol car, can be heard to tell fellow officers: “Ready for the pop?”

Two officers are seen to exchange a fist bump. As another joins them, they are heard to say the arrest “went great”. Earlier in the video, Hopp says Garner was “flexible”.

“We crushed it,” one of the officers says, in the nearly hour-long footage.

Near the end of the footage, Hopp says Garner is the first person on whom he has used a hobble restraint.

“I was super excited,” he says. “I was like, ‘All right, let’s wrestle, girl. Let’s wreck it!’ I got her on the ground and all that stuff. I got her cuffed up … threw her on the ground a couple of times.”

He adds: “I can’t believe I threw a 73-year-old on the ground.”

Good thing the dressing rooms were closed due to Covid, or this could have been a real sticky situation.

i love how TS is like "NY POLICEMAN"

then its some small city with 11k population and like 40 cops.. the state of NY has over 200 different police depts and sheriffs depts transit authorities etc.. and 100,000 uniformed cops

but lets make it seem like its a NYPD city cop for clicks

dude was accused of stealing like $10 worth of crap and TS wants a full trial and firing for a cop who probably was a decent cop for 15yrs

"but he stole" " cops should be held to a higher standard"

lol

That's what you took away from this.
Wow.

Wow.

I think his ex-cop sensibilities are kicking in. He's a very staunch Liberal on these matters, but he's got a line. That line is accusing all cops of being thieving panty sniffers, apparently.

Nerves are being struck. George is getting upset!
