The problem is that our laws don't mesh well with biology here. Note, it's a GOOD thing that men and women are treated equally under the law. My bad; I was thinking of the Gary Plauche case and got the facts completely mixed up. It was the child molester who carried out the kidnap(and rape). The father shot him dead at the airport after he was flown back to Baton Rouge to stand trial. The father was arrested and put on trial, but was offered a plea bargain(No Contest to Manslaughter). He was sentenced to 7 years Suspended with 5 Probation.
