I'm not sure how true some of these stories are but...damn, there's some chilling shit in here.
Thankfully, I don't and haven't known any killers personally.
Apart from my granddad in WWII.
My friend was stabbed to death during a drug deal, I had met the guy who stabbed him once prior to that, super aggressive/sketchy guy who I had a really bad feeling about right when I met him.
I lifted my mate up for a powerbomb and turned it into a Diamond Cutter while we were wrestling on the trampoline right after we'd just watched Halloween Havoc '98 on PPV.
Broke his arm in three places. So not a killing as he didn't die, but it was pretty close.
It depends on how you define, "killers".
My father served in Malaya. My Grandfather served in WWII, from Dunkirk to Casino. A very close friend of my family served with the OG Special Air Service in North Africa and Greece. Another friend of mine has done two tours each in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Infantry NCO. All these men left a lot of bodies on the ground behind them, but I would define them as soldiers or warriors rather than killers.
I like the Hounds quote to Sansa in GoT about this. He basically says that all soldiers are killers, that shit about righteous killing is bullshit.
Did some time in juve, there were kids there for murder, the ones I knew all seemed cool.
Also this kid that ran in my circle shot someone in the face. The 90's were crazy.
What he actually says is, the world is built by killers, so Sansa better get used to looking at them.
Killing and murder can be two different things.
The people you said were soldiers rather than killers are killers. You were not making the distinction between murder and killing in your post, but killers and warriors. I basically say that your warriors are killers (and I'd murderers but that kinda off topic with regards to your original post.)
Reminds me ofIve known several several handfuls of individuals who have committed murder, or attempted murder. Street gang shit. Now here is the deal, Ive known tons of legit killers but have never been more scared than a couple of months ago when I met someone from Liberia. The dude was like 5'4" tops, thin as a rail, and I could tell by looking in his eyes he would kill me in half a heartbeat with no remorse. It shook me so bad. We were standing in line for some street corner smoked BBQ and he was talking on and on about G-D and Jesus and salvation and the whole time Im looking at this cat thinking fuck this dude will kill me right here, right now, likes its the most normal thing in his world. I got my order fucking FLEW out of there.
Yes. It was called something else and they renamed the place Hamilton Strip. I was very young at the time but remember being shocked by the incident.Hamilton Strip...
Ugh. I think the bouncer culture has changed and they are less violent. I believe you need a security license and criminal record clearance to work as a bouncer in Canada. There's some similar parallels with my story. Probably around 2000-02, night club, ran at the bouncer outside, ended up eating a punch, fell back and hit his head on the corner of the concrete sidewalk.
Most disgusting sound I've ever heard.
I can still hear it.
War doesn't count. Those killings aren't murders imo.Quite a few. And if we're counting military, my uncle was a SEAL in Vietnam. He's killed a fuck load of people including women and children. I don't even know if hes still alive come to think of it.
