O shit my bad lol. Which one was in Terminator 2 as the mom.
It’s okay. It has developed a weird cult following similar to Halloween III: Season of the Witch where people swear it’s a great movie just to be edgy and different.
Jenette Goldstein is not even Mexican!O shit my bad lol. Which one was in Terminator 2 as the mom.
they did a great job!Jenette Goldstein is not even Mexican!

I watched that movie for the first time when i was 10 years old. 20 years later, I decided "maybe i didn't understand because i was young"Have heard it's not as good as the first one. What's the consensus on it here?
Oh my god no. Maybe when i was 12.Its not brilliant but it does kind of act as a fun greatest hits of 80's action, Lethal Weapon, Aliens and Running Man characters hunt The Predator.
From the same time I'd also recommend Robocop 2, much better than its reputation suggests.
Oh pfffh.

Predator 2 is one of the best action movies of its generation. It might not be quite on par with the first movie, but it is in the same league. Said league also includes Robocop, Aliens, Lethal Weapon and a couple of other classics, by the way. Literally every scene in Predator 2 is awesome and unforgettable.
It's wildly underrated in my opinion. It's a detective/action movie meets Predator. It's great, don't listen to the naysayers. I think some of the gripes about it are (consciously or not) because Arnie isn't in it and the first movie is so good. It's got an awesome cast and is just as rewatchable as the first movie. It does its own thing and expands the lore.Have heard it's not as good as the first one. What's the consensus on it here?
Beats 2/3 of those easily, battles the other to a decision. It's a classic.Predator 2 is in the same league as Robocop, Aliens, Lethal Weapon, etc.???

LOL I thought the same thing as a kid exept your post is mutch better written than mine. I'm no an English speakerI like it a lot. Predator is a better movie, but I've always thought P2 had more replay value and I've seen it way more times than I have the original. My favourite thing about P2 is the setting. You get a strong sense of LA being this nuclear hot, sweaty, borderline apocalyptic battleground full of brutal violence between Jamaican and Colombian drug gangs. I saw it first when I was like a 10 year old kid who didn't know much about America and so I ended up being pretty surprised that LA wasn't actually like that (Seeing Clueless was a big eye opener)
