It doesn't really matter, though. When your government decides to wage war, you're in it whether you like it or not. I agree with you. Israel should remove ALL of the illegal settlements and return the land to the Palestinians. Hamas should return the hostages and surrender.

But part of the reason Israeli civilians haven't spat on any rotting Gazan corpses is probably because they can't.
