Guns...who's packin'?

I mean one of the factory select fires...I think SA made 125 factory select fire M1A's and another company made about 175.

Ahh. Lookin to raise some hell are we? Lol. Walnut and blued steel wet dream.

Saw you mentioned the SCAR. They make one in .22 now for badass plinking.

Cody how do you like that P220? I've been looking at .45 handguns for a purchase down the road and that's on my short list. Others on the list are the USP and CZ 97.

I absolutely love this gun! I went shooting with my brother-in-law yesterday, and forgot my targets, so we used cans and plastic bottles. I was hitting and tracking the same target for all 9 shots of the magazine at 50 yards. Amazingly accurate for a 3.9" barrel. Points and handles very naturally. There is about a 100 foot burm out on the property, and I popped one of the cans up in the air and managed to hit it twice before it hit the ground at 20 ft. Very little recoil and my favorite gun out of all I've ever shot. If you can justify the price(my wife's still pissed as it costs as much as both our car payments and insurance for 2 months) I would definitely buy this gun!

Oh, and check budsgunshop.com, you may get a better price than I did if your FFL dealer doesn't screw you on the transfer. Tachy highly recommends them and the guy knows his shit.

Impressive collection Cody.

Thanks man. I think my next one is a SCAR .22 for plinking and because I can't justify a rifle that costs as much as my car. But I might build a select fire AR and get a threaded barrel for my Beretta and silence them both. I'm working on getting on with my local PD, but even if that doesn't pan out in OK we can just pay an ATF tax and get full auto and suppressors. Thinking a stainless barrel for the Beretta, I think it would just kinda set off the look of that weapon. Also once I make detective I'm headed off to the FBI Academy.

The CZ 97 has a reputation as one of the most accurate 45's out of the box and I do agree.

The main thing is to make sure you can grip it ok as it is a large pistol.
Recoil is very minimal and the CZ custom shop in Mesa, AZ has anything you could possibly desire for any CZ at great prices and the staff is awesome.

Depending on what you want, EAA imports the Tanfoglio Witness Match and it is an amazing shooter.
It is a single action only, fully adjustable trigger, match barrel and steel frame.
Here is mine

The Witness is a CZ clone and the Match model is about $550 and it really shoots like a custom gun of a much higher price.

I like the reliability and point of aim of CZ's, but I feel the Witness is a better shooter if you are going to use it as a range gun.

If you are ever near Phoenix you are welcome to shoot either of my pistols

I would put the 220 over the HK IMO

Legendary shooter

Speaking of cz, shooting my cz phantom at the range this weekend was a blast. Went through 150 rounds in no time. It's getting my hyped up about CZ in general. I was looking at an XD 9mm subcompact, but now that CZ p07 duty seems pretty attractive.

Seeing as I own a P07 and a XD-SC I have to tell you that the CZ takes a gigantic shit on the XD. I like the XD, it's good for what it is, reliable, pretty accurate, good price, and obviously being a sub-compact it's smaller. That said the CZ is x10000 better gun. I'm more accurate with my P07, the trigger is much better than the mushy XD, the grip is amazing. I swear CZ makes some of the best feeling guns out there. I bought mines NIB for $399 and I still haven't shot anything in that price range that's better(Sigs, M&P, Glocks, XDs). Got to play with the polymer SP-01 and about jizzed(LOL).

Thanks for the info Tachycardia. NC is unfortunately a bit out of the way lol. As I said the CZ-97 is definitely on the short list. I don't know why but I got the itch for a full size .45(not a 1911). That's a while down the road though(around March I'd imagine). Narrowed it down to 2 rifles for my Christmas present to myself and it's between the CZ/D-Technik VZ-58 or a Kel-Tec SU-16C. I know the VZ is obviously the better gun but the SU-16C is a pretty cool gun(and cheaper lol).

I love my P07

Got it for $399 and it is a straight shooter

The omega trigger system is quite smooth as well

Gawd I miss my P07. Had to send it back to CZ 2 weeks ago because the trigger bar spring magically disappeared. I did a search online to see if it was a common problem and I think I encountered like 2 instances of it happening. A damn shame some random problem happened since my model dropped mags like bricks and chucked shell casings 8 feet out like they weren't shit. Would constantly hit people with casings 3 lanes over:icon_lol:

Hoping they decide to send me a new one for the mags lololol.

Is that a fiber optic front sight? If so is that standard or did you do that? I know a lot of your CZ's are custom.

Front and rear

Not standard, but a snap to change out.

I have a like 10 in my random sights bucket if you want one

They come with white painted sights, similar to a Glock

I love 'em

dead on with the ammo I shoot

As soon as I buy one, I may have to take you up on that. Thanks very much.
