Guns...who's packin'?

These are my issued weapons...

Wouldn't recommend it for carry just based on the conical bullet. Conical rounds tend to go right through the body at CCW distances. If you can find the frangibles that basically powder in the body you might be ok, but the 5.7mm doesn't have a lot of knockdown power. Personally, I don't recommend anything smaller than 9mm for CCW.

I'd recommend people carry whatever they are comfortable and accurate with.

I was more referring to over-penetration. Even if the shooting's justified and the round goes through and through hits someone else, you can still catch a charge that results in prison time and loss of your rights to even touch a firearm again.

carrying this at this exact moment.

Great shooters, but the $650 price tag is a bit of a stinger

I think that it's worth it if you love it. Guns are such a personal thing

I agree, I pay a lot for most of mine.

I was more referring to the fact that as the market is flooded with bargain pocket pistols, better quality pistols are not being considered as they are twice as much.

I carry my CZ Po7 9mm sometimes and my old CZ 82 Makarov most of the time.

I love my Mak, it is a very simple and reliable pistol and the Makarov round is quite potent with the proper load.
And it was $200, but I put about $100 into customizing it and dressing it up, it is currently at CZ customs being respring and de-horned

I use Hornady or my own reloads for that purpose.

I have yet to shoot a Kahr, but they seem quite ergonomic.

While I have others, CZ and their clones are what I shoot the best.

Too many people get pistols based on what others think or what is considered cool instead of getting what works for them, which for me is CZ.

They have a very natural point of aim and reliable as hell.
The fact they are the most used pistol in military and law enforcement in the world is a comforting thought as well.

How's she shoot? 9 or 40?
Wanted one for a while for a summer/spring carry gun or as a BUG.

mines a .40. i bought it the week it came out and i only paid $425. i think they mispriced it but oh well. my boss bought the same one recently and yeah i think he dropped almost 3 bills more. it shoots beautifully. and the thing is so narrow is the ideal weapon for my conceal carry needs. i shoot flawlessly with this gun.

^^ They were cheaper before people realized how great of guns they were.

The with of the pistol for a .40 in amazing and I enjoyed the trigger as well

Then this is my next purchase. Thanks man.

I had a KelTec PF9 that I really liked, it shot really well, and was so thin and concealable. If I could buy 2 inexpensive handguns, I'd buy a used Taurus 5-shot .38 and a used PF9. 9mm in that small of a package is comforting, and bullet selection in 9mm is vast.

I live in Albuquerque, I have a gun

lol. I'm in Albuquerque all the time. It's pretty ghetto. A ridiculous amount of panhandlers.

I bought this earlier this year. It's a fun, cheap gun. Got a PF9 and some other rifles. Used to have an SR 9c and a Ruger P944 that I miss a lot.

How does the grip feel on that Keltec rifle? I've seen them online and they look cool but a bit awkward. Still haven't found one IRL to check out.

Seen this, Fury?

New Beretta, got great reviews and should be selling for $400 or less

Everybody has a pocket 9 coming out. If I was buying one, I would go PF9 for the sub 300 spot, the Kahr CM9 if I wanted to spend about 400 though. It's a bland (not melted, not scroll marked) PM9 but everything is the same except the slide stop.

I carry a Taurus PT 111, my wife has a Ruger LCP .380. Neither of those are my preferred guns, but they both shoot straight.
