Picture a mall on a busy holiday shopping day. Gun shots ring out and everyone starts screaming, panicking, running away. Now imagine 12 people with guns spread out within the chaos who all draw from their holsters to be big damn heroes. If person 4 sees person 9 with a gun out taking cover or firing at someone how would they know if that is a good guy or a bad guy? Now imagine the same situation but with cops running in- there are 13 people with weapons drawn taking cover, moving tactically, firing, etc. how do you expect the cops to know in that instance who’s the bad guy?If there's 12 good guys with guns ,that shooter is going to go down before the police even arrive and the 12 can tell the cops what happened. Also oh my God crossfire ! Would it be better to just let a shooter shoot unimpeded?
It's not a perfect world , but the things you are asking about don't seem to be a common occurrence
None.So you think that if police are present folks carrying concealed just start blasting?
How much of the show Swat do you watch on CBS?

Statistically the large majority of gun owners never attended any sort of advanced training. 85% of the us military is never in a combat role or sees combat. Im not trusting that some dude who swung a weed whacker around the base for 4 years is going to be a crack shot with that pistol he carries.lot of people put a lot of time and money into training how to shoot properly and assess situations amd threats not to mention all the vets out there who also know ehat they are doing
Im not suggesting 12 people all together in the same area giving each other the nod and hand signals. Im saying if there’s 500 people in the mall spread out in all directions and levels and they start creeping around weapons out after hearing shots they aren’t going to know who’s who.Like all them dudes are all drawing and moving on the same target can see they are all doing the same thing and can communicate with each other
Never said that. You seem to be assuming everyone with a gun is already a moron who has no idea what they are doing...
The cops would be getting information from panicked mall goers with conflicting stories about multiple shooters. The cops also are getting real life descriptions and info in real time. Shooter black metallica shirt with black rifle ...update chubby dad with a beard and a soccer mom in a purple dress seem to have shot the shooter with handguns.
If this were such a major concern, plain clothes police wouldn't exist.Picture a mall on a busy holiday shopping day. Gun shots ring out and everyone starts screaming, panicking, running away. plain clothes cops have 2 radio communication with dispatch. My racist uncle who buys his guns from Walmart doesn’t.If this were such a major concern, plain clothes police wouldn't exist.
Hondo would be sad.None.
My assistant head coach held mitts for the dude from, “burn notice”. Nice guy, decent hands. Total boxing nerd. That’s gotta count for somethingHondo would be sad.

Well considering Walmart only sells hunting rifles, none of them autoloading, he isn’t concealed carrying anything.plain clothes cops have 2 radio communication with dispatch. My racist uncle who buys his guns from Walmart doesn’t.

I wasn't sure if you're talking hypothetical groups or what point you're trying to make exactly.
I mean Ray Charles can see who I'm referring to.I wasn't sure if you're talking hypothetical groups or what point you're trying to make exactly.
