I'd be surprised if Joe isn't aware of the potential issues with his penchant for weed and hunting, but he is a bow hunter, not a gun enthusiast as far as I'm aware.

Amazing, isn't it? You or I could get caught with a pump shotgun where the barrel is 15.9" instead of 16.1" and best case scenario we get a plea deal and are felons for life. Thugs carry illegally converted post 1986 machine guns and nothing happens.

What's hilarious is that the whole reason behind the SBR ban was that it was a tack-on to a handgun ban--the lawmakers didn't want people to just convert their rifles/shotguns to handguns AFTER they banned handguns.

But handguns weren't banned, but the SBR ban stood. So it's pointless. LOL

The “good guy with a gun” thing always baffles me. If there’s one active “bad guy” shooter and a dozen or more active “good guy” shooters, how can anyone know who’s who? What about cross fire? If there's 12 good guys with guns ,that shooter is going to go down before the police even arrive and the 12 can tell the cops what happened. Also oh my God crossfire ! Would it be better to just let a shooter shoot unimpeded?
