GSP: "I am learning from Benson Henderson. He showed me the blueprint"

I don't think GSP has used the same game plan for 4 years. For example, he took Hardy down every chance he could, but kept the fight standing and worked the jab against Koscheck.

You may think he's boring, but you can't say he isn't versatile.

The fights played out different, but the plan isn't ever terribly different. Mostly jabs and kicks to keep distance standing, shoot when you see the opening. Obviously you shoot more on a shitty wrestler than an outstanding one.


Everybody knows GSP already has this blueprint down, and didn't need to watch Diaz vs Bendo to have this breakthrough. I'm not attacking him, just saying.

Did anybody tell him that he's not fighting Nate?

If GSP goes into that fight assuming they fight the same, he's in for a long night.

Bendo can teach him how to be smooth.

They might be similar, but they aren't the same fighter at all.
