Widespread droughts have been a major cause of unrest in the region and Africa. Syria in particular has been particularly impacted. It had been cited as a major factor in setting off the Arab Spring as well.

Exactly the 2014 Drought in Syria was what made it ripe for "regime change" food problems etc.

People are dying Greta, and the only solution is the same solution there's ever been throughout human history to deal with human population growth: advances in technology. Because if we don't increase our energy consumption, and don't go with the cheapest sources of energy available, then people -- largely the poorest of people in Asia and Africa -- will starve and die today.

You know the best thing would be to not lift poor people out of poverty because then they consume more. They must be kept poor.

Emotional appeals from children (again, with media apparatus fully involved) probably have a greater affect on the masses than someone who knows what they are talking about.

Yea this is true, I think the left is smart with this, they have been using emotions for some arguments for awhile now.

Still support the mass migartion of people from the thrid world to the first world where their carbon footprint and energy use will many times greater than what it would be if they stayed put and had less kids.
