You can call anyone infertile or homosexual to have a genetic defect. Because the human race is supposed to reproduce. And so on for a host of other genetic disorders or flaws. Being allergic to bees is a genetic defect. Humans are not supposed to be killed by a bee sting.

But again, political correctness has made it offensive to say a gay person has a genetic defect or was a flaw in the gene pool, even if it's the truth.

If you believe, as Greta Thunberg does, that carbon dioxide emissions are a literal extinction level crisis, then prudence would dictate maximum possible pressure on China, which emits more Co2 than the US and the EU combined.

But China is not a weak retort in any sense when it comes to environmental problems. They are far and away the worst offender globally. You've got it backward, it is the lack of pressure on China that gives away the game: these people aren't seriously worried. They just want us to be worried.

So the West should implement extremist and unrealistic climate change policies that put itself at a huge economic, industrial, military and technological disadvantage because the biggest manufacturer and polluter won't listen to virtue signalers and the climate science racketeers? Makes sense.

Makes as much sense as one society deciding to become pacifists while their neighbors become more aggressive and imperialistic. That's not going to work out well in the long-run.

That's misleading. China is the largest CO2 producer, but the US is higher per capita contributions.
But it's besides the point. One country shouldn't say that they have no obligations because other countries are worse. We live on the same planet and everyone needs to do their part (and some need to do more than others).

1. The US gets an amazing amount of attention paid to its emissions. China not so much. If they got half as much condemnation as western nations do, I might start thinking you guys are serious about your climate fears.
2. Not only did I never say that this is about the US having no obligations, I pointed out specifically that this was not my point.
3. My point is if the mitigating climate change was the real goal of this movement, that China would be far more regularly and roundly condemned. But the goal of the climatetistas is political control in the west. China is irrelevant to their goals and it shows.

It is described as a variety of developmental disorders, but that doesn't mean it is mutually exclusive to a lower IQ. Someone being socially awkward and obsessed with trivial things wouldn't be considered retarded, no?

You're ascribing a biased but focused viewpoint when talking about something that includes a wide variety of variables. So the definition of developmental disorder automatically means retarded to you.
