Social Greta Thunberg Megathread

We've all heard she was recently plucked from the sea by Israel as she was looking to land and protest Gaza. What people don't know is that Israel pretty much ran the atrocities of the Muslims on the Jews from the attack that started the current situation on a video big screen making Greta watch it. She now knows what the Muslims did to the Jewish children, women, and elderly on their invasion. It's gruesome. Well played Israel.
 
I think this was her "Kappernick refuses try out" moment.

It was clearly a self serving PR stunt. Her "aid package" was like a fridge full of food, LOL. Sadly, I doubt she even knows what's going on. She seems to be on the spectrum, and is likely being used by other grifters. The interviews from this group on the boat, doesn't even make it seem like she's calling the shots.

If they were concerned about the climate, why wouldn’t they use the sails? It is not like sailing wasn’t invented and they had to use the diesel or vice versa, as your weird comparison is implying

Sometimes its more efficient/faster, or only possible to move, using the egines. Obviously.

And the point of attempting to change the system from within is to work within the system.... My weird little comparison underlines this. Obviously advances in technology or society are going to be rooted in the conditions before the change they are attempting.

The argument that they don't care about greenhouse emissions because they used the engines is totally invalid. If their entire position had been against specifically the use of diesel engines on sailboats, then you'd have made a point. "concern about the climate" does not equal "never use anything that emits greenhouse gases." only an idiot would think this. Just as "desire to develop a pen" does not equal to "never use a pencil."

You know this, too, if you spend even thirty seconds thinking about it.

Nope. Emitting the greenhouse gases is contributing to a global genocide, which trumps a smaller genocide in Gaza. She is literally helping kill the people in Gaza, along with everyone else
 
I think at this point her parents just want to lay around all day and bang; so they keep sending her on these PR tours. Keep the donations trickling in.
