The fact that Fedor is winning is a travesty. Logically the GOAT is Jones seeing as if he don't count the DQ Jones has won 14 straight fights in the UFC which is only two from Silva and he's only 26. Jones has beaten half the champs his divisions had and for the most part finished them. You can make arguments for AS and GSP because Jones is so young and a lot can happen but saying Fedor is the GOAT is just plain insane.

He looked pretty shaky on his last fight. lets leave Jones out of this for a few years more and few title defenses more.

In reality what threw me off his post was the grappling and wrestling. As a BJJ practicioner, i am a huge fan of Fedor's subs, active guard and hips. GSP has incredible MMA wrestling, but it's been a while since he used any type of submision to win.

As a BJJ practitioner you should probably recognize that Jiu-Jitsu is more than submissions. GSP has the best top control in MMA. Penn and Condit both have an unreal bottom game and are very hard to control on the ground. Condit got up like 10 times from under Hendricks. GSP used JJ not wrestling to keep Condit down.

I see no point in comparing different weight classes. I picked Dan just because I think he's accomplished more in 3 different classes than anyone else.

Yet has never unanimously been considered the best in the world at his weight class. I respect Dan a lot but he doesn't belong on that list.

See, this is what I meant. No way in hell is that a real opinion, based on an open-minded evaluation. It's just Fedor love, all over your face, down your chin.

Not only is Anderson a better fighter but he'd destroy Fedor if they fought in their primes, despite any size difference.

Jones has been fighting big names for 2 years no way he is GOAT. The rest of the options have beaten smaller and bigger opponents for atleast 6+ years. Silva, GSP, Hendo, and Fedor have been on top and beaten former high ranked P4P fighters.

He's out struck Alves, Diaz and Condit standing..

Outside of guys like Fedor, Cain, Cro Cop and JDS HW doesn't have many fantastic strikers

(I know Fedor out struck Cro Cop but so did Gabriel Gonzaga.. I know it's not prime Mirko but still to argue Fedor is a better striker than GSP seems silly to me, GSP is one of the best boxers/technical strikers in MMA)

Minotauro in his day was a hell of a boxer, I mean the guy outboxed a prime Sergei Kharitonov, who to this day is without a doubt one of the best boxers I've ever seen compete in MMA. Nog had great jabs, top-tier combinations and could keep a very good pace. I don't even need to go into how amazing his chin was.

Taking all of that into account, now realise that in their 3rd fight Fedor made him look like an absolute fool on the feet.
