It's a tough one but I lean towards Anderson. He's done things in the cage that I've never seen, and may never see again. I can see the argument for Fedor as well.

Absolutely, Silva barely lost a round in 10 years whilst Fedor got outgrappled and dominated everytime he fought someone with decent takedowns. Not to mention Fedor lost 4 times to low tier opponents (losing records included) and fought in a weak division.

Why should losses towards the tail end/twilight of Fedor's career be a game-changer? That's like saying Muhammad Ali should get some bad marks against his record because he got utterly smashed by Larry Holmes and beat by Trevor Berbick late in his career.

im not attacking you or your opinion but when people always say, "anderson does things ive never even seen before!" it makes me wonder if these people just strictly watch mma or if they actually watch boxing, muay thai, kickboxing, etc.

HendoKO'd Fedor and gave Silva his toughest fight before Sonnen. His LHW and MW ratings GOAT are hurt by the fact that he split his time pretty evenly between them but besides Jones, GSP and AS it's hard to put anyone in front of Hendo P4P.

Hendo has a great record but everyone knows he was not a huge talent. He had his ass handed to him too many times for me to consider him in GOAT discussion. And he has like 7 gift decisions (1 against Big Nog)
