Great game but then there's THAT part...

That fruit picking segment (something like that) in GOW Ragnorak with Angrboda. Atreus was annoying enough on his own, but that sequence pretty much did me in.

I heard it got way better near the end, so maybe I'll try again on a deep Steam discount down the road. Luckily I was able to trade it in full price with EB games.

The hide and seek mission from Assassins Creed 3 where you play as the kid. I hated that shit and it took me forever.

Pretty much every quick time scene in games that don't use quick time except for a few scenes.

World 6, Ice Land in Super Mario Bros 3. Fuck slippery surfaces in a platformer, lol.

Worst part is that world 6 was the only way to get the rarest power up of them all, the Hammer Brother’s suit. A real Sophie’s choice about whether or not to skip world 6 entirely or go for the hammer suit.

I came across Dribbles foot and thought 'oh this is a quest, right? Won't be doing it. Thank you very much.'

And later I see a YouTube clip saying it's in the Top 5 worst quests of the game.
It's sooo fucking long and the reward is just ok, and you are close to the endgame when you're finally able to get all of the pieces.

The water level in TMNT for the nes or the stealth mission in siphon filter 1
I hated that damn water level, I only made it through a handful of times but didn't usually make it much further.

Turbo Tunnel - Battletoads

Legendary controller destroyer.

PTSD just posting it....even the music stabs at something....

I hate any sort of platforming section in Soulslike games. Lies of P Cathedral section was annoying as fuck each time I played through it. The game was just not designed for it and I often fell off.
Reminds me of playing Doom Eternal with all the platforming. FPS's are just not conducive to precise platforming.

I will add ice physics will mess up any otherwise good platformer. If we are talking specific games, the clock tower stage in every 2D linear Castlevania.

The stupid opera scene in FF3 (US)....I gotta memorize lines while I'm trying to make it on stage on time?

I always loved that shit.

But it's hot or cold with some people.

In keeping with the premise of this thread, my friend dickrided Fallout 3 pretty hard, and he lent it to me singing it's praises.

I grabbed it, popped it in, spent some time on the character creator, and fired it up and....

ok

Im a kid crawling on the floor

and then i got to go to school... what the fuck

I was so ANNOYED by this, man

and my reward for this was runnin around hitting roaches with a wrench or something. I shut it off after 30 mins.

Dont get me wrong, a game that spends time opening the world to you CAN be good, like Red Dead Redemption or Alien: Isolation, but this Fallout shit irked me to the extreme.
