Hiliary Clinton also weighed in on the vaccine debate.

The science is clear: The earth is round, the sky is blue, and #vaccineswork. Let's protect all our kids.

Smart jab back. Doubt Rand will be the candidate but if you can tie this to the whole party, it can work. I think Christie and Paul are the only ones to say this lately. Some high office Dems have made this mistake as well.

In 2008, Barack Obama called science on vaccines

Seems like the same thing that happened to Christie since his office replied now with a similar response. Paul however has kept to what he said in that original interview.

Not at all. It's not like Obama got criticized for an anti-vaxxer statement and walked it back partially. His position from the start was anti-anti-vaxxer, and it wasn't even an issue back then. He was just trying to be tactful about it, but he still told an anti-vaxxer voter to her face that he was against her.

This was their clarification

Walker has walked the Conservative walk in Wisconsin - he's going to be the champion of the Right, Bush will be pushed as the moderate/centrist phony, while Walker the union busting Reaganite real deal who was elected/re-elected three times in federally Blue Wisconsin. He'll also get the Koch money, and they're spending near a billion for the 2016 cycle.

Rush is a big "get" for Walker, especially so early in the process as the candidates will try to carve out their niche and separate themselves from the rest. The biggest threat to Walker is that the right splits their votes too many ways early and he's lost in the shuffle, but if he can establish himself as the mainstream Republican candidate, the biggest "not-Bush" candidate of the pack, that will go a helluva long way in getting him the nomination.

Also be aware that RNC Chair Reince Preibus is a Wisconsinite as well.

Latest poll out of Iowa curtsey of the Des Moines Register. National polls are worthless.

For certain states national polls will be misleading but for the most part, they are a good indicator. Romney held the lead for the majority of 2012 and won.

Iowa has been polling to Huckabee and Walker. Also, that poll has Romney in it. In national polls without Romney, Bush has held a small lead. I'd like to see what it looks like in Iowa for a non Romney poll

Walker has fucked around so much in WI that he'll get eaten alive by Dems in the debates.

I will also never understand how a lower class people can vote for a politician who openly wars against lower/middle class.

Some recent polls from RCP
Latest Election Polls

Pretty funny ones listed was Hilary beating Kasich and Bush in their own states by margin of error.
(2-3-15)
Ohio: Kasich vs. Clinton Quinnipiac Clinton 44, Kasich 43 Clinton +1
Florida: Bush vs. Clinton Quinnipiac Clinton 44, Bush 43 Clinton +1

Also some Primary state polls that a poster mentioned is useful
(2-4-15)
Pennsylvania Primary Bush 12, Christie 11, Huckabee 10, Carson 8, Santorum 8, Walker 6, Cruz 6, Rubio 4, Paul 3, Kasich 3, Jindal 2
Ohio Primary Kasich 14, Walker 11, Paul 10, Bush 10, Carson 8, Huckabee 7, Christie 6, Cruz 6, Rubio 4, Jindal 1, Perry 1
Florida Primary Bush 32, Rubio 15, Huckabee 11, Paul 3, Walker 9, Carson 8, Cruz 4, Christie 3, Jindal 3, Santorum 3, Perry 1

Not surprised at all PA almost has Christie leading. The others were expected as well.

Wisconsin is federally Blue and elected and re-elected Walker a total of three times. He must be doing something right there as they'd know him best and re-elected him twice.
