GOP = National Embarrassment

This whole election is embarrassing and it's not just the GOP. The left are acting like a bunch of little children throwing a temper tantrum by protesting these Trump Rallies. And I say this as a democrat.

Can't break the rules if you don't play the game I guess.

In law school, I learned that avoiding the topic moght not violate the rules, but it will result in an F.
pretty much every debate in here changes the subject. ts is just pretending the right is the only side that does it. in reality, the answer to almost every charge about the other side being terrible, regardless of the side, is to point out worst behavior from the opponent.

This is just not true.

The democratic candidates are not doing this but th right wing ones are acting like assholes and people smoking meth

Plenty of principles and plenty of efficacy.

If the goal is to stymie the passage of legislation that they believe harms the nation then the hue and cry about "gridlock" would suggest that they've been fairly successful with putting that principle into place. Obamacare was a big loss but they've been generally successful in putting their policy into effect.

Also, you might want to look at state governments which are overwhelmingly headed by Republicans (31 > 18 in governors). Just because you think the principles aren't defensible doesn't mean they haven't been effectively implemented.
Fair enough, you caught me overstating things, but you also hurt your point. With all this efficacy and all this success in gridlock, why must they take on this anti-democrat identity? I mean, if they're so effective, surely they have some positive proposals...surely.... Republicans can't have this argument both ways.

So liberals aren't protesting Trump Rallies? I don't like the guy either, but this Idea of causing a disruption and shouting over a candidate just because you disagree with them is very Un-American and downright childish.

We're talking about candidates correct.

Clinton and sanders aren't interrupting anything, but the right wingers Trump and Cruz are acting like morons every single day of the week.

And their base eats it up. That is their voting base. The people interrupting at trump rallies are a small group of people, not th e base majority of the Democratic Party.

It's a rule in the WR that to be respectable you can't admit that one side can be worse than the other. A lot of people don't seem to believe in objective truth.

I just don't see the connection at all.

The republicans have been acting this way since Bush left office.

It's not like this is hidden material, you can YouTube the debates from years past. The democrats have not acted this way during the last two election cycles.

The republicans make this their bread and butter. They always act the fool.

What I said was that this whole election process thus far and the fuckery that has been surrounding it is embarrassing.

How so. One side is far more embarrassing than the other.

I don't even see how it's close. The republicans do this each election cycle.

Just bringing Palin out is all one needs to say. The democrats can't come close to something that batshit stupid.

The GOP reminds me of a Jerry Springer episode, minus the midgets.

FFS dude. Are you really going to make me repeat myself again?

1. With the GOP you have candidates arguing like teenage girls and Donald Trump in the front running.

2. With the Democrats you have people getting media attention with these Trump protests when all they're doing is stifling 1st amendment rights. Or someone writes Trump 2016 on the ground in chalk on a college campus and students start saying they're afraid and need safe spaces.

But yes I do agree that the Democratic candidates have been conducting themselves professionally.

But you're comparing general people to the candidates.

How are you not getting this my man.

The republicans also do this every election cycle. They carry on like people who have been huffing paint fumes

I'm just saying that a lot of people think you have to say, "but Xes are just as bad" when you criticize a party or you're "partisan" and biased, even if it is objectively true that Xes are not just as bad.

What do you find so embarrassing about how this years candidates have behaved?
