He doeant seem like a Santorum type religious fundamentalist though. Or as crazy as Bachmann. Or as stupid as Palin. He certainly ran his state better than Brownback.

It's like a man showing up and saying his goal is to steal from the cash register and then asking the people trying to stop him to explain themselves without referencing the existence of a cash register thief. Plenty of principles and plenty of efficacy.

If the goal is to stymie the passage of legislation that they believe harms the nation then the hue and cry about "gridlock" would suggest that they've been fairly successful with putting that principle into place. Obamacare was a big loss but they've been generally successful in putting their policy into effect.

Also, you might want to look at state governments which are overwhelmingly headed by Republicans (31 > 18 in governors). Just because you think the principles aren't defensible doesn't mean they haven't been effectively implemented.

While I don't like those candidates, you are conflating things by including guys like Romney, Santorum, and Huckabee. Disagree with what they stand for but they never came across like this


They are just generic single/zero-issue empty suit politicians.


I don't think anyone would ever confuse the Huckster or Romney for the Cain train, Palin, Trump, or Cruz.

the ts challenged us not to mention obama, hillary or bernie and say why the right is superior. i went totally off topic. i didnt answer the question OR say why the right is better. therefore, no rules were broken at all. avoiding the topic does not equal breaking rules. perhaps you missed that in school
