Global Fight League draft live thread.

Luke Barnatt a manager now? Totally forgot about him.

Because we all know it’s going to fail, we already seen a “legends division” with Scott Coker at the helm and we realize it’s not what people invision. The health insurance + 50% revenue and all
That sounds good, but we’ll see how long this organization keeps it up or even stays a afloat.

I’m skeptical, I personally think this is going to go under in 5yrs or less.
Everyone said PFL would go under by like 2020. Just doomsaying at this point.

the soyboy in me enjoys the marvel promo, looks badass. team format sucks though. should have just made 1-2 weights per gender. do a proper one night tournament in dubai or some shit. just hope we get some good matchups. maybe gus can finally get that belt.

Am I understanding this format right in that it means there will be a bunch of fighters we don't get to see because of the team ejections? So many fighters on the roster I never expected to fight again so maybe GFL threw them some dough to be on the roster without having to fight?

I don’t know about that, I always looked at PFL as a org that was doing their own thing but with the recent acquire of Ngannou they seem to want to compete with the UFC, but I think they just fast tracked their downfall. I give them 3-5years. Bellator under Scott Coker was dead on arrival, he’s just not a good businessman & promoter.

GFL seems to be following similar footsteps in what ended others. But hey it’s good to be optimistic but I’m not sold on it.
