Global Fight League draft live thread.

It's almost like the people clamoring for Legends divisions and the people shitting on this and memeing Bellator after Shamrock/Royce 3 are not the same.

Shogun vs Lil Nog 3 should be enough proof that Legend Divisions are a terrible idea. Wand's Bellator fights too. It's depressing shit.
Wanderlei vs Rampage 4 was pretty good IMO. While there is debate on if Wandy should have been fighting in 2018, it was enough to get attention. This is why we're sitting here on a friday night watching the GFL draft lmao.

For every bad old guy fight, there's good ones (Fedor vs Mir, Fedor vs Sonnen, Romero vs Manhoef). Bad fights or stupid stoppages are going to happen whether fighters are young or old. The possibility of a bad fight is assumed to be accepted by the viewer in regard to any combat sport, really.

Also, let's be honest, the Shogun vs Lil Nog 3 matchmaking didn't even make sense. At that time, we should have got something like Anderson Silva vs Shogun instead.

Surprised they didn’t recruit Oleg to fight.

Going for team Dubai or Sau Paulo, team NY gonna get their shit pushed in.

Marlon Moraes gets his 25th KO loss. Stop this shit.

How does it work with coaches for these teams based on geography? Do the fighters need to go there for a camp with their team's coach?

I'm trying to understand this cluster fuck!

I don't think this is actually going to happen if I'm being honest.

I am confident there will be at least a few cards.

I am not at all confident about the long-term prospects of success unless they make some huge changes.
